I’m surprised Sarah didn’t give a more neutral answer to the question posed given how controversial the birther issue is.
She is usually VERY good at not handing the media any ammunition, leaving them to make up “news” to discredit her.
This time she handed them ammunition by acknowledging there is even a question in peoples minds of Obama’s eligibility.

Allahpundit has not been complimentary towards Palin from the get go and at times does go off the deep end when it comes to her.
I’m beginning to wonder if Going Rogue won’t outsell Levin’s masterpiece.

I wouldn’t be surprised. She said the left was harping on her to produce Trigs birth cert!! To prove he was indeed her son, and she did! So why on earth would zero;s be any different??

Well, there is a question in people’s mind. What’s wrong with that? How come we can’t ask the question, without being branded nuts by the liberals and their allies.
I understand some people on our side become nervous about this.
Up to a couple of months ago, the same was true with global warming. Look at where we are now.
Really now! On the main, this was a very good, very solid interview. Fifteen seconds worth of the BC in the midst of 20 minutes of interview is hardly sufficient to indict Palin as a ‘birther’, IMO. She makes a valid point: there are elements of the public for whom this is still an issue, and it should be fair game in the public discourse.
It’s time to take back the country. And, Sarah Palin may well be a big part of that process.
Like I said before she answer the question well and if the media tries to use this against her it will backfire. Red Steel conveniently left out the part where Sarah compared the Trig truther issue to birther issue. Basically saying that if it is fair to ask for Trig’s birth certificate then it is fair to ask for Obama’s. I think she made a good point. She didn’t give them ammunition; she gave them enough rope to hang themselves.
No biggie. It didn't even cross my mind. Palin answered the question very well.

"Controversial" to who? The lying sewer known as the MSM? Obots? RINOS? Moonbats and other assorted leftists? Ask me if I give a damn about what any of them think.
She can't lose any more points with that crowd, so she may as well speak her mind. She's built that way, anyway.
Get used to Sarah coming straight out with the plain, unadulterated truth. It's what she does, and it's who she is. She doesn't speak "nuance" or politi-speak, like most politicians. She speaks the way the people speak, which is why we love her.
