Google Censoring Climategate from News
Google News ^ | December 4th, 2009 | Bon Mots

Posted on 12/04/2009 4:56:33 AM PST by Bon mots

Google News is blocking all searches of "Climategate".

Proof:
site:news.google.com climategate
site:news.yahoo.com climategate (for comparison)
site:news.aol.com climategate (for comparison)

Click on any of the above links to run the search and see for yourself.

However, if you search "climate change" on Google News, you will find plenty of hits:
site:news.google.com climate change

(Excerpt) Read more at google.com ...

TOPICS: Crime/Corruption; Culture/Society; Miscellaneous; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: censorship; chat; chickenlittle; climategate; google; mediablackout; muchadoaboutnothing; vanity
This is in addition to the US MSM blackout of the news about "Climategate" and especially the term, "Climategate" - which is used widely on left-wing blogs already, yet is surprisingly absent from the top news sites with the exception of Fox.

The MSM Boycott of Climategate (Proof)

The MSM conspires to suppress stories harmful to the left-wing globalist agenda. Here is irrefutable proof.

Pages on major news sites containing the word "climategate":

Site Search Term Results
PBS site:www.pbs.org climategate 0 (4 mentions in letters and search results - no story)
MSNBC site:www.MSNBC.com climategate    0
CBS (See BS) site:www.cbs.com climategate 0
ABC News site:www.abcnews.com climategate 0
Wall St. Journal site:www.WSJ.com climategate 1
CNN site:www.cnn.com climategate 1 (plus 1 search result [generated])
NY Times site:www.nytimes.com climategate 9 (in comments mostly and shows up as "most searched")
Financial Times    site:www.FT.com climategate 27 (mostly comment/Opinion)
Sky News (UK) site:news.sky.com climategate 149
The Times Online site:www.timesonline.co.uk climategate 628
NY Post site:www.NYPost.com climategate 2090
Huffington Post site:www.huffingtonpost.com climategate 9080    *
Fox News site:www.foxnews.com climategate 12,900
Free Republic site:www.freerepublic.com climategate 17,000
  Results from December 4th, 2009.
* Note: The Huffington Post is a left-wing Liberal site, yet from the sheer number of pages of results, it is obvious that the word "climategate" is also ALL over the left wing blogosphere and they all know precisely what it is. This further proves the conspiracy to cover up this story by ignoring it and reporting more and more about Anthropogenic Global Warming or Climate Change.
Regarding the chart above:

Thanks to Google or other search engines, you can easily see how a story is promoted/reported... or not.
The MSM can decide what is news, and they have unambiguously decided that Climategate is definitely not news - or rather, not news they wish to report.

This test searches a number of leading news sites for the term "climategate". This test is quite revealing, for on the left-wing sites where it appears - which are very few - it is either in an opinion column, where it is somewhat laughingly disparaged or in a blog comment that somehow escaped the notice of the censors.

One might argue that they may use a different term for the fraud, which is, perhaps a fair observation... however, for that reason, the "Huffington Post", was included. "The Huffington Post" is a left-wing Liberal site/forum/blog where the term 'climategate' has been published THOUSANDS of times by left-wing bloggers - all of which makes it more conspicuously absent from thousands of stories published daily by the MSM. The Huffington Post left-wingers are using the term frequently and very freely amongst one-another - but you would never know that such a term even existed if you relied solely upon the MSM for your news and information.

See the chart above which shows actual numerical results according to Google site searches done earlier today (Dec. 4th, 2009).

Using Google, you can do a simple test to immediately expose such blatant press bias by searching each site individually for the term, and simply counting the number of results pages.

For example, to search CNN for the term "climategate" simply type the following into Google and see:

   site:www.cnn.com climategate

If you check the BBC site, you now see over 1000 hits, but almost all (if not all) are in the blog section and are comments being submitted by increasingly ANGRY readers demanding that the BBC cover the story and stop conspiring in the coverup.

Foreign Media
As you can see by the chart, non-US media seem less reluctant to touch this story as they do not have their Al Gore and Obama to protect.

Update: New Media

Site Search Term Results
Google site:news.google.com climategate 1
AOL site:news.aol.com climategate 648
Yahoo! site:news.yahoo.com climategate 9850
Results from December 4th, 2009.

Google Search Results Growth over the last 4 days (or so...)

Google searches for "Climategate":

December 1st 13,000,000
December 2nd  ?
December 3rd 21,900,000 (morning)
December 4th 28,600,000 (morning)

Footnote:
If you do a simple Google search for the word "News", these are the top 10 results:
  1. CNN
  2. BBC
  3. MSNBC
  4. ABC News
  5. News.Google.com
  6. Fox News
  7. News.com.au (Australia)
  8. Yahoo News
  9. Times of India
  10. Drudge Report
Funny, that out of the top 5 US News organizations, only Fox is covering this story.

I did a google search of “Climategate” and got 28,500,000 hits. Don’t have time to peruse all of them. But, I would imagine at least some of them are stories shining a negative light on the scumbag global warming fraudsters.

Am I missing something?

FRiend, you did the wrong search on Google.

If you search Google News for the term "Climategate," you get the following:

If you search the news hosted on the Google News site, you get the following:

Bottom line, I don't see the problem here...except for the already widely known fact that the SRM is not giving this the coverage it deserves.

It depends upon what news services are actually hosted on the Google servers, as opposed to what news services are hosted by the Yahoo servers and by the AOL servers.

If you want to see all of the items on Yahoo's news servers, look here. (when you put your mouse over one of the links, you will see "news.yahoo.com/..." -- that tells you that the data is on their servers.

On the other hand, Google just hosts the major wire services on their sites and refers people back to the original source for most of their hits.

That probably is the best explanation for the disparity.

You can say the same about ALL the MSM.

Ask anyone about Tiger Woods and everyone is up to date with the latest, and they will be happy to tell you their own opinion of what they think went on, and what they think should be done about Tiger. But ask those same people about Clamategate, and they would look at you with a stupid unknowing look on their face and say Climatewhat?

Even my own 8 year old was talking about Tiger when I picked him up at school yesterday. He said he seen him on the news today (at school, during school).

We should all do searches daily for climate gate it will overwhelm googles algorhythem (spelling?) system and bring it to the top. I do searches of it and come up with plenty but that is how it works the more we search for the term the more it brings it to the top of the list.

Best is to doublecheck... there may be a couple of errors. I have checked many of them with other terms where I DID get results...

I should probably hyperlink them, but simply do not have the time...

ABSOLUTE UNDENIABLE PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF: http://i48.tinypic.com/2qjhms6.jpg MORE PROOF (needs proof reading): ABSOLUTE PROOF. These are posts I put on another website [below is regarding an article discussing the lack of "climategate" and "climate gate" in auto suggest despite the fact that both terms were searched for more than "climate change" in the past week] 29 11 2009 Joe (04:03:54) : Your comment is awaiting moderation After I type in all of these letters: “CLIMATE GATE” it suggests “climate gates” something different. when i type “climateg” all the way to “climategate” IT SUGGESTS NOTHING! 29 11 2009 Joe (04:08:20) : Your comment is awaiting moderation BTW the results on google for “climategate” have GONE DOWN to 6,690,000. IT USED TO GIVE >12,000,000. When a story breaks the reuslts normally INCREASE for at least hte first month. But in under a weak the numbers have decreased by over half. I wish them edia covered things. It disgusts me. 29 11 2009 Joe (04:11:53) : Your comment is awaiting moderation OMG “climate gate” (two words) gives even less. RUNDOWN: “climategate” and “climate gate” both gave over 12 million results at first. NOW: “climategate” : 6,690,000 “climate gate”: 6,180,000 TO SHOW THAT THIS IS ABSURD AND DIRECT CENSORSHIP “climate wall” yields: 32,600,000 !!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT WHAT??? Google you bastards. 29 11 2009 Joe (04:14:36) : Your comment is awaiting moderation Also more proof of tampering “climate gate” is yielding less than “cliamtegate”. climate gate should always yield more as it SHOULD result in all sites with the word “climategate” (thaks to google’s algorithm) BUT also any websites taht have the words “climate” and “gate” in them. THIS IS DISGUSTING
