The private sector reports last week stated there were almost 200,000 jobs fewer in the private sector. Also the numbers were. Plus the weekly jobless claims have been hovering around 500,000 for the past month. 400,000 is considered break even.
This report should not be trusted, it was put out temporarily to take the pressure on Obama and to get health care thru.
I would say this about today’s employment report: It is an aberration. No more, no less.
they are absolutely lying — exactly because of health care. these people are evil.

Certainly I am not an Obama supporter, but how do you know this is a bogus report?

Around here stores held on to employees they really couldn’t afford to keep in anticipation of decent holiday sales. I’m betting that a lot of those employees are laid off now or will be by the end of the day.

I believe the number. The number was close to 13% last Monday, but then the jobs summit was held and it dropped to 10% overnight.

Because the numbers don’t add up.
Yesterday, we had to cut five from our company of 44, taking us to 39. And the survivors all got a 10% salary haircut for Lord knows how long.
We’re doing our part to get that number revised upward.

More valuable as a gauge of real employment trends will be the Household Survey (a hard count or real jobs) and the U-6 number.
I am looking at these right now. One thing I see immediately in the Household survey is that the number of people not in the labor force actually INCREASED by 291,000, while the civilian labor force DECLINED by 98,000. Hmmm. Also, the U-6 unemployment rate was 17.2% (down from 17.5% in October). Also, the largest decline in unemployment was among teenagers (0.9%), which is consistent with an increase in seasonal and temporary employment, rather than permanent hiring.
Next Thursday I celebrate ONE YEAR of unemployment after a layoff from Wells Fargo. NO jobs out there down here.
If the gooberment claims it... it is 100% a lie... the gooberment is fully corrupted as is their propaganda machine called the “media”.

Aside from past performance setting future expectations? Mark my words, as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, 2-4 weeks after the numbers are released, there will be a small news story on how the numbers "unexpectedly" had to be revised upwards.
