Colonel (retired) Allen B West, a candidate for the United States Congress from Florida, visited Israel this week and attended the Safe City Conference in Tel Aviv where he spoke with Israel National News. In the following video, West emphasizes that urban security and global threats are often very much connected and the municipal authorities must very often take international events into consideration when it comes to local security.

I adore this man. He is a little too far away for me to pull the lever for him, but if he was in my district, hands down, he would get my vote. I wish he would reconsider his run for congress and run for governor of the state of FL. We sure could use him at home more than DC in the next race!
What a pity. All the good men and women sacrificing overseas to keep our homeland safe, while our politicians don’t have the integrity to close our borders.

My District is right next to District #22 (which was Robert “Year-round-Maryland-resident” Wexler) or else I would be doing my utmost to get LT. Col. West in his rightfully-deserved seat.
Why let foreign nationals enter the country who are going to be domestic terrorists. Close the borders. Deport the foreign nationals. Drill for oil here. Move the manufacturing back to the US so we are self sufficient.
Remove those in power which do not follow the people’s mandate. These are our representatives not our rulers. We are citizens not serfs. We do not want to be ruled by an oligarchy. The Greeks figured this out 2,500 years ago.
I can’t vote for him, but I make up for it by sending a contribution to his campaign when I can.
