When I lived in La Mesa, I’d go down to Hiram’s in El Cajon and ogle the guns on the wall. The front half of the store was a liquor store - I kid you not.

One question about the story: if the area is unincorporated, how can it be El Cajon?

Oh, yes! I remember Hiram’s too! Addresses in Harbison Canyon are considered a part of El Cajon (Bostonia) Post Office’s rual delivery area.
