Actually I think these “scientists” ought to look into termites, old-growth forests and littoral mud-flats (i.e, marshes and estuaries) as the terrestrial methane culprits before trying to blame the bacteria in rice fields.

Those "littoral mud-flats" are called "wetlands" and have federal protection. Can't be blaming them for any Glo-Bull warming now.

Wait ‘til they figure that out!

Tidal basin mud flats are among the most prolific methane and H2S producers (gasp) as you know, so these nuts are in a real quandary now!

Perhaps we can genetically engineer new bacteria for mud flats that won’t respire anaerobically?!?!? LOL
