WHEN LAWYERS LEAVE ONE AFTER THE OTHER, THERE HAS TO BE A LEGAL PROBLEM
The Department of Justice announced yesterday that Deputy U.S. Attorney General, David Ogden, the second highest ranking official under Eric Holder, would resign on February 10th and return to private practice.
Nia-Malika Henderson, writing for Politico.com, a markedly liberal leaning site, could not deny the facts:
The second-in-command at the Justice Department is leaving his post, officials announced Thursday making him the third top Obama legal official to announce his departure in recent weeks.
Deputy Attorney General David W. Ogden will return to private practice in February. White House General Counsel Greg Craig will step down in January, and Phillip Carter, a top Defense Department deputy assistant secretary dealing with detainee issues, has already left.
Ogdens annoucement follows news that the White House ordered an open attack on the free speech rights of Commander Charles Kerchner and the Washington Times this week.
The resignation of Craig followed revelations that the Department of Health in Hawaii refuses to explain what filed by means on Obamas alleged HI Certification of Live Birth, a document which the current White House Chief Counsel, Robert Bauer, would not bring himself to ask the court in the Hollister case to take judicial notice of, so confident he is in its authenticity.
As for Carter, his resignation is what any decent American would do in a similar case.
Ogdens public statement was long and verbose, but no where in it does he explain where he is going, a fact normally contained in resignation letters, when there is a personal reason for seeking better employment. It must be concluded therefore, he left for internal reasons in the Deparment. Whether this was on account of Holders decision to move the terrorists trial to New York City, or the Kerchner Advertorial which makes it undeniably public that Obama is not legally qualified for the office of U.S. President, because he is a British citizen, is unclear as of this morning.
Odgens resignation is all the more remarkable since he took his job as chief operations officer at the Deparment of Justice in May. His decision to resign, therefore is a career U-turn.
FBI Deputy Director, John Pistole issued a letter in response to Odgens resignation, wishing him well; a letter which perhaps indicates that Ogdens resignation had something to do with his siding with the FBI against policy decisions of the Obama regime. Clearly Obamas handling of the Ft. Hood shooting was grounds enough for that.
Even the Huffington Post attempts to cover for the peculiarity of Ogdens decision, by emphasizing his statements that he will be returning to private practice, without however stating what that will be.
For normal Americans, Obamas legal problem is a no-brainer. For Obama supporters, who are so devoted to him that they checked their brains at the door, they cant figure it out.
Ogdens appointment caused a stern reaction from Christians and conservaties through the country, on account of his history defending the porn industry and his strong advocay of abortion.
When can we get Holder out?
My guess would be that we can get Holder out about the 5th of Never.
One can only deny truth for so long.
Todays newest revelation discounts entirely the authenticity of the information on the alleged COLB, which bears the notation Date filed by Registrar.
It has been speculated for nearly 3 months, by concerned citizens who have examined the rules of other departments of Vital Statistics accross the country that this designation, filed by indicates submitted to, but not yet accepted as verified.
The writer suggests legal problems, but doesn’t speculate as to what they might be. Any ideas? Would this have to do with something we’ve been talking about (like a birth certificate), or are there other things churning beneath the surface?
When can we frog-march the whole bunch to Devil’s Island?
Apparently, the thought of Prison Gray doesn’t suit their taste.
What is so explosive in that Birth Certificate that it must remain hidden?
We may never know thanks to Obama’s lawyers who according to some are working for free LOL.
Clicking on the link will bring up an outstanding picture of the beauteous Janet Reno introducing David Ogden—who looks like he was about 15 years old at the time.
There are just so MANY “legal problems” with this bunch, I was just wondering which ones are compelling the “legal” staff to jump ship. Or maybe it’s all of them?
Was it ever together beyond the Obama-Axelrod-Emanuel axis?
Would you hire Hillary Clinton for any job including fetching groceries from the store? You might as well mix the cyanide into your coffee yourself.
And we can't have that.
Yes, it’s the “hidden” part that bothers a lot of us. Back when this question first came up, I was convinced it was something that would just come back to embarrass us when at some point he’d pull out a perfectly valid birth certificate for all to see. That never happened, and so I was added to the numbers of “birthers” who REALLY want to see that document. And several others that are being hidden away.
I’m for that.
I'm free all week.
Now Obama will be forced to hire Black Panthers and the like.
Interesting. if you follow some of the links in the underlying article, they WILL lead to a column which alludes to the legal issues that may be responsible for these sudden resignations:
“Okubos response also now makes her liable for criminal charges of conspiracy to use her office under color of the law to defraud the general public.”
