I would think that one of the problems with “theories” about weather is that the general citizenry has memory and can experience the accuracy of your thoery on an alomost daily basis. I think it was last year that some gorbull warming conference was hit by a big snow storm. Hard to pay attention in warming class when it’s snowing right outside the window. LOL!
The Weather Channel is useless and has been since NBC bought them.
I can find out all I need to know about the weather in less then five minutes using Weather Underground and Intellicast. If I need hurricane info I mix in Tropical Atlantic.
If I need “background noise” on my TV I can tune in to the “fireplace channel” on Uverse. It is more entertaining and informative then the Weather Channel, too.
The leaked e-mails two weeks ago revealed the fraud in global warming research. We should remember that others have been telling us this for the last 5 years, despite Al Gore claiming their was a scientific consensus.
If you live in LA or NYC or other major cities in the US, the story has been grossly under reported by the networks and papers. So here’s a list of what was revealed in the e-mails. Here is a list of the elements of the fraud and a primer on the issue.
1. The temperature data revealed that the temperature was declining since 1998 and that many of the hottest years were in the 1930. So the scientists at East Anglia cooked the books. They selectively chose the rings of just three tress and temperature readings from selected thermometer hot spots to draw their conclusions. Mann the leader of the group who is currently under investigation at Penn State created the now infamous “Hockey Stick” curve chart based upon the incorrect data.
2. The scientists would not reveal or publish the base data so that other scientists could study them and develop their own findings. This is a direct failure to follow the scientific method.
3. The scientists conspired and acted to suppress and drive out others from their group who questions the findings. This is simply coercion to support fraud.
4. When asked to reveal their information under England’s freedom of information act, they stonewalled and continued to refuse, eventually destroying the data. Law violations and continuing fraud.
5. Al Gore, has won an oscar and nobel prizes espousing this false science and declaring that there is no disagreement that global warming is not only true, but it is mostly man-made. It is MANN-made (professor Mann), if anything else.
6. Last year there was $158 billion in carbon off-sets purchased and traded in the US and Europe. The banks are making fees off of these trades. Al Gore is a partner in a carbon off-set company and is not estimated to be worth $100,000,000.
7. General Electric stands to make billions on cap and trade and green projects in response to global warming. They own NBC and The Weather Channel. If you watch the NBC shows count the references to global warming, especially during “green week.” The weather channel regularly refers to global warming and recently did a special naming global warming as the number 1 weather story in history.
President Obama postponed his trip to Copenhagen, but will go in two weeks. The purpose of the conference is to sell the idea of cap and trade. Taxes for creating carbon pollution which causes global warming. Carbon is .028% of the atmosphere. If pay the trillions in taxes, it may be reduced to .02%. In short there is no anthropogenic (man-made) global warming. Even if there was it’s insignificant and we can’t do much about it.
Press Secretary Gibb’s response to being confronted with the fraud information “The science is settled on global warming.” In other words, don’t confuse us with facts.
Barbara Boxer’s committee was asked to investigate the fraud and she attacked the leaker instead. Many of these politicians stand to make millions off of their interests in cap and trade companies. The government will tax us in the trillions and there will be more restrictions on our businesses and personal lives.
Here a quote from someone Al Gore said didn’t exist.
“It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in [sic] allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the “research” to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus.”

IIRC in the late 90’s they used to play music from “Weather Underground” alot of the time.
The last time we broke the record high for December was 24 years ago... ummm if the Earth were warming wouldn’t we have seen some record breaking highs by now?
But that’s why the weather jihad changed their mantra from Global Warming to Climate Change. That didn’t fool you either?
