Sorry he commuted his sentence which resulted in his early release same difference. Here is his explanation where he claims to not have understood why such an individual would receive such a long sentence for “two crimes when he was 16”. Oh yeah it was because the guy was black. I do not understand why so many conservatives have become the whipping boy for this man. I don’t hate him but his judgment is clearly lacking.

I am nobody’s whipping boy, so screw you.

Many people were involved with releasing this scumbag, not just the Huckster. Why aren’t people like you screaming for their blood as well?

Because of politics.

You raise a valid point. We have a bunch here (Mostly Mitbots ~ raise your hands ~ you're among friends guys ~ we won't tell, eh) who don't like "The Huck".

There's a few Arkansas people who don't like "The Huck" 'cause they're still mad about the taxes raised to build roads and schools ~ (taxes, the levels of which would make Californians and New Yorkers think they'd died and gone to Heaven).

The Mitbots and the Arkansas tax protestors are so angry they're willing to buy into the misdeeds and misjudgments of the real mind-numbed, knee-jerk, robot-like Leftwingtard officials and judges who did their darndest to turn this guy loose.

No, I don't think we need to let the Leftwingtards off the hook just to make the Mitbots and tax protestors happy.

Let's add this to our PURGE THE RINOS project ~ don't let Leftwingtards running as Democrats off the hook just to nail a RINO. Makes no sense to give up a vote in the legislature or Congress just to give another one to Nazi Pelosi and Harry Reid. Not that I want to defend any real RINOs, but some targets are more suitable than others given time and resources.

I reread the post, I couldn’t find where the word “PARDON” was used. In fact I went to the original article where most of this was pasted from and the word “PARDON” doesn’t appear either.

Try and get YOUR lies .... never mind

Oh can it. Huck brought this on himself, with his holier than thou attitude and pontificating. If this were a liberal governor, you would be joining in the chorus of slams. Like Huckabee all you want. But for God’s sake, at least be intellectually honest.

I don’t think he was born ~ plus the laws on rape in this country were far from uniform at the time.

Although Huckabee has been a champion for the rights of the unborn, he cannot carry the torch any longer. Social conservatives out of necessity must re-evaluate their support for Huckabee. The public will view clemency for Clemmons no differently than Mike Dukakis’s pardon of Willie Horton.
Find another horse to ride (Palin). The cause of defending the rights of the unborn is much greater than the man, Huckabee.

You sound just like Huck, ‘stop picking on me!!!!’ He was notoriously sot on crime and deserves all the scorn he gets.

Actually I don’t like Huck as a politician, he’s a RINO.

Putting all the blame for this animals deeds at Hucks doorstep is dishonest.

It's my understanding that Huckabee was working on the recommendation from another board of some kind?

Thanks! I just can’t help wondering why no one is looking into the TEN YEARS missing from this article. I get the feeling it’s another distraction, and a way of getting rid of a rival. Again, it was wrong, but there seems to be alot of hands in this pot. Why do we only know about 1 of them?

HA! If I sound like a liberal, then your boy Huckabee is a flaming marxist. As it is, he's a Christian Socialist RINO who has no place in any conservative movement. Just because he's a Christian does NOT automatically make him conservative.

But you keep falling for the Christian label, ok?

No I have been very consistent on Huckabee. His lack of judgment on this issue is the primary reason I could not support him in 2008. There were others but those reasons didn’t make him worse or better than the candidate McCain however his willingness to speed the release or pardon criminals that had a history of violence seemed to fit more with the record of a liberal Democrat than a conservative preacher. When someone does not understand their responsibility to the victims of crimes and the public at large and lets their “be nice” feelings convince them to do things that are irresponsible and place the people they are elected to serve at added risk I think it makes them unfit for office. Now I don’t just believe it applies only to this kind of situation but also to the current President who I do not believe is fit to be President because he has shown a willingness to violate the sovereignty of the citizen and confiscate the wealth/property and override the will of those he was elected to serve.

who I do not believe is fit to be President ...
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

He is also not “fit” because he is likely NOT a natural born citizen.

Because Clemmons would still be in jail if not for Huckabee. He wouldn’t have been eligible for parole until 2015.

There is a lot of blame on judges & others once Huckabee freed Clemmons, but Huckabee’s the one who originally set him loose.
