Some on the talk shows I listen to say this is a little payback for shooting those pirates against obama’s wishes. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but it fits what I’ve learned about obama and the Chicago way.

The Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps has already proven itself to be stuffed full of leftist lawyers in the various persecutions of the Haditha Marines.

And there were already plenty of people along that chain of command who proved themselves willing to harrass and unjustly prosecute Marines for no good reason except to please the press and the politicians or CYA. That was under President Bush, who did NOT inspire any of those kangaroo proceedings but regretably did nothing to try to stop them.

Now Murtha is still riding high and Obama is in charge, and we have criminal leftists in high positions all over the administration. Any officers who resist this put their careers at risk. All that we can really rely on is that the Seals’ immediate superiors will resist the political pressures and act justly toward their men. So far, justice has prevailed, no thanks to the Navy JAG or the higher command.

Let’s hope and pray that it prevails again. One thing in our favor is that although this sort of travesty of justice is popular with the press and the moonbat fringe, it does a lot of damage among normal Americans. Murtha, to take one instance, may still be able to buy his re-election, but he is increasingly vulnerable to a wave of disgust that may eventually throw him out in spite of all his pork. He has not done himself any good with his stupid and dishonorable behavior.

She is so entrenched with the hand outs and illegals (who vote twice) that is is hard to unseat her. Repubbies don’t try hard enough in her territory. I do think if they got a person who can really go after her—she could be thrown out. Crap and trade, etc. However, she hangs in there—really a dumb ass too.

Just a YEAR! HA! They can do that bouncing on their heads! After the year is up and they are out I would not want to be anyone that was on the jury or in the Prosecution! Can you imagine what a(or 3) pissed-off Navy Seal(s) could accomplish!

This entire situation is beyond ridiculous, beyond words. Bottom line is these three warriors are making a stand and all three will walk (as should be the case).

But some damage has certainly been done here, completely needlessly because of agendas and incompetence within the system.

It would be nice to see senior level NSW officers / and or from SOCOM stand up and say 'we stand by our men, come hell or high water' in a more public/open way.

It should be noted that the SEALs were headed to an Admiral's Mast but demanded a Court-Martial. I think it was a smart move. I don't think that the prosecution is going to be able to get a conviction & the SEALs will be acquitted — it's all about clearing their name.

In my fantasy, they take the SEALs, apologize to each of them and their families personally for wasting their time, give them all spot promotions and parade them down the canyon of heroes in NYC while the 9/11 trial is happening. As commander in chief I believe the Bamster could make this happen.

In a civilian court, I just wouldn’t see this going too far. It would seem easy enough for a defense attorney to impeach the credibility of the terrorist witness- and without him the prosecution doesn’t have case.

Are the rules in military justice that different that the Seals are really in jeopardy here?

People who remained silent when these circumstances were happening 1-8 years ago, now want to jump on the President. We as citizens must remain consistent and stand against policies that damage America NO MATTER THE PARTY. No more excuses because man R is better than man D. As a matter of fact, we should divorce our support from the parties, and move them towards the person only. We are the mind that drives this dysfunctional system, and the system is insane.

Those who have not served under battlefield conditions, whether military or civilian, should never be allowed to judge our armed service members who are charged with misconduct while on the battlefield. Read “With the Old Breed” by E.B. Sledge who fought as a Marine on Peleliu and Okinawa. Battle is dangerous, dirty and life is cheap. Survival is partly skill and mostly luck. If we put our troops in such conditions, don’t expect them to be altar boys.

Admirals Mast or Captains Mast? I didn’t know there was an Admirals Mast. One thing about a Captains Mast is that the, so called victim, could file suit in civilian court after the Captains Mast. That is my understanding. In a Court Martial, the Seals can’t be brought to court again by anyone. It would be considered double jepordy (sp?).

This case is beyond politics. It should enrage every American. That's why I donated to the ad (this). I found out about this issue from the ad, and it made my blood boil. Every friend I sent it to was enraged as well by it, even my liberal father. If you don't donate, at least send the video link to everyone you know. We need to use any and all means to OVERWHELM the system with anger, so the charges are dropped.
