Comcast CEO endorses Senate health bill

The chairman of Comcast endorsed the Senate health care bill in a letter Thursday to President Barack Obama, saying, "We cannot allow perfection to stand in the way of critically needed and very good legislation."

"While there has been much controversy and debate over hundreds of provisions and alternatives, it is my view that the current legislation pending in the Senate provides a workable framework for this country to take an important step toward enhancing health care accessibility, promoting operational efficiencies and technological innovation, and reducing the cost of health care and the federal deficit," CEO and Chairman Brian Roberts wrote.

Roberts said he intended to make his statement in person Thursday at the White House jobs summit but could not make it because of his company's $30 billion merger announcement with NBC Universal.

Well, those of you who held out a small amount of hope that Comcast’s acquisition of NBC would balance that particular “news” division out, think again.

Wonder if this endorsement had anything with the merger being allowed?

Just what we don’t need. A Wealthy capitalist, no less, but wants the rest of us to endure Marxism.

What Roberts meant to say was that he would be happy if the cost of health care was removed from his ledger sheet.

There is a lot of free money to be had if you just support the Marxist agenda and jump aboard their money boat.

He’s gotten the message — to get along, go along. Otherwise COMCAST could be in for some rough political sailing.

Comcast CEO endorses Senate health bill”

Quid pro quo.
0bama to Brian Roberts : You back 0bamacare or the DOJ kills your attempt to buy NBC/Universal.

Brain Roberts to n0bama: How high do you want me to jump, sir?

Comcast is doomed anyway. Sooner or later, who the heck would want to pay for cable when most TV programs can be seen online for free with no cable bills? And no, the ratings challenged Keith Olberman's NBC is not going to save them either.

Time for everyone on Comcast to move to DSL or FIOS for internet and over-the-air or satellite for the networks.

Starve the beast!

"Comcast CEO endorses Senate health bill"

Three words..."SWITCH TO DISH".

These companies, like Comcast, Progressive, etc...are pulling the same wool over our eyes that the government is...they're using OUR money to take our money...i.e. socialism.

Maybe we can't stop paying taxes, but we can sure as hell dump all of the commie-left companies and supporters, like Comcast, Progressive, GEICO, General Motors, etc. We don't need them...THEY NEED US.

Do you want to know who really runs America...just look in the mirror. That's right, the People run America...it's our culture, it's our legacy, it's our right.

The leftists are bullies, however they can dish it out but they can't take it. Very thin-skinned and narcacisstic that bunch.

The only non-violent weapon we have left is...our money. WHAT we buy and WHERE we buy it could mean the difference in our future. If you keep trading with companies that support the left, or companies with unions that support the left, you may as well be sending money directly to the DNC.

Money is their "oxygen"...time for us to stand on the tube.

Surely we can do without cable for a year or two to stifle out the communists in Washington.

Without some sacrifice, we will not defeat them.

ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS, MARCHING AS TO WAR - FEAR IS NOT AN OPTION.
