Alleged Mistress: Tiger Said Marriage a Sham
TMZ ^ | Dec 7th 2009 | Staff

Posted on 12/06/2009 10:32:23 PM PST by FTJM

Tiger Woods told one of his alleged mistresses his marriage was a sham -- "It's only for publicity" -- this, according to her lawyer.

We've also learned she has lurid details of the alleged 2-year affair and Tiger's lawyer has already contacted her attorney.

Michael O'Quinn tells TMZ his client -- O'Quinn asked us not to ID her by name but it's not Jamie Junger -- met Tiger Woods at Roxy Nightclub in Orlando, Florida in 2004. Tiger was engaged at the time. The woman -- then a 20-year-old cocktail waitress at the club -- claims she went back to Tiger's and had sex the night they met, and then carried on an affair for the next two years.

Why is this in any way newsworthy?

Is there nothing else newsworthy to publish rather than this garbage?

I agree, we need to stop this Tiger Woods mania and get back to real news, like Michael Jackson. Is he still dead? I haven't heard.

Tiger Woods told one of his alleged mistresses his marriage was a sham — “It’s only for publicity” — this, according to her lawyer.

Did he also tell her that he was leaving his wife to marry her? She didn’t understand him? Good grief...

Whole new meaning to Tiger Tail...

Today, newsworthy and garbage go together like a horse and carriage used to.

I don’t get the ‘ why are we talking about this’ responses. Don’t like it, move on or don’t click.

I, for one, want to hear the “real” story in it’s entirety and hate having my hands slapped by those who don’t want to read it but do so between their fingers while chastising those who DO want to read it.

(Not that hand slapping will stop me from reading it or posting)

I don’t get people who populate threads they find “not newsworthy”. What is it? You couldn’t find another article on FR more to your liking so you come on this thread to berate folks who do find it newsworthy?

Does this mean the kids are a sham, too ? He should never have had kids until he was ready to settle down and commit to marriage. They’re going to suffer the worst.

Agree with both of you. The thread titles are invariably clear. If someone truly doesn’t care, why does he or she bother to click through and read the article? Seems like little more than a phony display of superiority.

That's what all adulterers tell their mistresses to make the wife look bad.

We've learned famed attorney Jay Lavely from Lavely and Singer reached out to O'Quinn this weekend. We've also learned Lavely has had "multiple contacts" with attorneys who represent other women as well. (from TMZ website)

Tiger has some pretty deep pockets. Financially, this will be a nightmare.

I feel really sorry for his wife and kids.

Heated argument ends in arrest outside police station (N.H.)

Some breakups are probably for the best.

A woman was arrested this morning following a fight with her ex-boyfriend that began outside his apartment, stretched down Route 4 during a car chase and ended in the police department’s parking lot, Chief Glen Drolet said.

“All I know is I heard yelling and screaming in our parking lot and someone banging on our back door,” Drolet said.

Whether or not he ever said those exact words about the publicity, one wonders whether he just saw his wife and kids as accessories that he could buy, to portray the perfect family life.

He has got to be very emotionally disconnected to carry on this circus, but I think it DOES explain why he has been described as so “private”, lol. This is not just a Bimbo Eruption, it’s a Bimbo Tsunami!

I agree (for what that’s worth) but all this Tiger BS is pathetic. This is more like a National Enquirer then FR. It would be one thing if it was yet another Senator or Congressional idiot that spews one thing but does another. I’m pretty much fed up with all professional sports anyway, most are way over paid for what little they do.

This is a crash and burn of epic proportions.

That is what keeps it in the news, like a horrific auto crash that you can't help but ogle while driving by. It reminds me of the old Greek saying: Whome the gods would destroy, they would first make mad (crazy).

Elin needs to go and talk to Sam Cooke’s wife.
Sam was a sex addict like Tiger who got shot while he had his pants off in some hotel.
Tiger is going to lose his endorsements, his family, his money and maybe his life.

If Tiger is an Obama supporter, all of his transgressions need to be publicized to illuminate the arrogance and indifference to the laws of man and God that Obama and Tiger possess. Destroy him where the only job he’ll get will be on a miniature golf course in Denton, Texas.Take the money away from Obama’s supporters every chance we get.

“Does this mean the kids are a sham, too ? He should never have had kids until he was ready to settle down and commit to marriage. They’re going to suffer the worst.”

exactly.
Somehow I doubt Elin thought the marriage was a “sham”

I’m sure it’s unheard of for someone with Tiger’s level of indecency to lie to these women just so it’ll be easier to get them into the sack.

Ya gotta love these chicks who fall for it right?

“oh - I knew he was married, but he said it was a bad marriage - so that’s the only reason I did it!”

Ladies - if he isn’t officially divorced - he isn’t available.
