I’m afraid you’re right. The Obama administration and Congress hope to saddle us with the yoke of socialism and hope that the working middle class will quietly continue to pay the bills. We’ve always been too busy working and caring for our families to offer any meaningful objections. They may have miscalculated this time.....

Looks like more Purkulus is headed to Maine, compliments of the taxpayers.

And we get Obamacare handed to us on a platter.

http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/is-health-care-going-the-way-of-maines-failed-dirigo-plan/question-634703/

Is Health Care going the way of Maine’s failed Dirigo Plan?

“State’s Dirigo Health plan suffers from many serious flaws ...

The reality is that Dirigo Health is a costly failure. Dirigo Health is being rejected by small businesses, is raising health care costs and is not reaching the uninsured.” see below

Maine’s ‘Public Option’ an Expensive Failure

Should the Repubs gain majority next November - would it be possible for them to propose a law to “void” this HealthScare bill?

Just think: if the GOP takes over the Senate in 2010, McConnell will be the party’s third straight transgender majority leader.

Kill this bill...and any variation. Don’t let these fools pass anything. Anyone who votes for this abomination needs to lose in the next election. Resist! Resist! Resist!

The problem with making a big deal about opposing the legislation unless funding for abortion is taken out, is that if the Dems pull a fast one, and pass something just to get your vote, they can remove that stipulation later, and we're STILL saddled with a government takeover of health care AND full funding for abortion.

How about just oppose it on the grounds that the federal government has NO BUSINESS in the running of health care in this country?

Further proof of just how idiotic Republicans are. They get shut out of the debate but yet are supposed to vote with the Dems. Absolutely pathetic.

Lieberman told the Journal that when he says no public option, he means no public option -- not an “opt-in” or an “opt out” or a “trigger”

Seems to me that Lieberman's stand will force the 0b0z0 forces to kidnap more than one Republican.

A while back, Snowe indicated that she might go for a "trigger" which Lieberman will not go for. This missing vote will have to be made up by another Republican.

If Lincoln will vote against anyway, a THIRD Republican must vote for cloture to make the sixty!

I would like to believe that there won't be three Republicrats, but worse things happened and the Dumbos may force Lincoln to "suddenly" vote yes by promising her a position in the Administration if she's kicked out in '10.

Just sayin'.

Here’s how Obama going to buy Snowe and Collins’ votes: He’s going to bail out Maine’s DirigoCare program.

Yes, they can propose anything they want. No, it cannot pass. Even if they had 60 votes in the Senate, Olympia and other RINOs would break away.
