This is a presention by Lord Monckton in Berlin, at which he specifically discusses eight of the major players in Climategate and their actions. He pulls no punches.
He even mentions the change of opposition leader in Australia and the rejection of the ETS there, which was particularly satisfying for me as I had been terrified that we would be lumbered with this albatross just when the truth was finally coming out.
The presentation is about half an hour long, and well worth it.
TOPICS: Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: climatechange; climategate; globalwarming; lordmonckton
At the very end Lord Monckton ask people to go to www.allpainnogain.org to sign a petition against Cap and Trade. I would loved to have done so but you need to be in the U.S. to do it.

Alas, it looks like the point is moot, as the EPA will be imposing by bureaucratic fiat what Congress is unwilling to sign onto.

It is much easier to stop EPA than it Will Be to Stop Co2 Cap And Tax. FOI Act, Data Quality Act and 2010 elections.
Co2 Cap and Trade Must Not Pass.

(If your outgo exceeds your income, then your upkeep will be your downfall.)
Before Kyoto, I was indifferent about this issue. Then, when Bush rejected the Kyoto Treaty, I took a look at the issue without really examining the data, and on the basis of that, realized it was a bunch of hooey. Now, since the emails have been released, I have been on a bit of a crash course to teach myself what *exactly* is the problem with the data they have been talking about all this time. I began by reading Christopher Horner's excellent book "Red Hot Lies" about the whole scam. He mentions Lord Monckton often, so I decided to find out who Lord Monckton is. The point is, Horner makes the point of mentioning that the person at Wikipedia responsible for all things Global Warming makes a point of scrubbing the entries on nearly a daily basis to suit their political leanings, so after reading his bio at The Heartland Institute
I went to Wikipedia to read theirs. Interesting, indeed.
The alarmists hate him so for his purposefully public, unconditional invitation for an open, one-on-one public debate with Al Gore on Global Warming, which Al Gore wisely chooses not to do, because Gore would undoubtedly be eviscerated.
When you read the Wikipedia entry, you see the way they treat skeptics of Anthropogenic Global Warming. It is a perfect example. "He isn't a REAL peer, just a hereditary one" which is exactly the type of sneer Global Warmists have for people in an argument when they say "But you don't have a PhD..." and "That isn't a peer-reviewed article". Christopher Horner points out these are the things they use when they can't refute the facts, and that they never apply them to losers like Al Gore and Leonardo DiCaprio...:)

(Time to prosecute Al Gore now that fellow scam artist Bernie Madoff is in stir.)
Well worth the time to listen.

(If Obama is the answer, it must have been a stupid question!)
Thank you for posting this....this is the first time I have seen Lord Monckton speak, and it was what I would have expected from reading his works.
I signed the petition a few days ago...and sent it to everyone I know. Thanks again...
