A White House spokesman dismissed polling that shows President Barack Obama's approval rating at a new low.
A Gallup poll released Monday showed Obamas overall approval rating dropped to 47 percent -- the lowest during his presidency.
On Tuesday morning White House press secretary Robert Gibbs compared the poll to a child's art work.
Gibbs was specifically referring to the trend line, which shows Obama's approval ratings declining. Gibbs noted "a six year-old with a crayon could do something a lot like that."

"A six year-old with a crayon could do something a lot like that"
Baghdad Bob Gibbs.....always cocky, always dismissive, always irreverent, always spinning, always lying and obfuscating.....
Nuh uh! That’s ridiculous!
Funny, that was my thought on the global warming hockey stick graphs.
Gibbs, of course, is an expert on being a six-year-old.
Someday soon (hopefully sooner than later) those lines will touch, cross and keep going.
He also works for one.
“a six year-old with a crayon could do something a lot like that.”
He should not talk about his boss like that.
Gibbs noted “a six year-old with a crayon could do something a lot like that.”
If anyone should know what it’s like to be a six year old with a crayon, it’s you, Gibbs, and your traitor President.
Sure enough: Bagdad Bob. Perfect, markomalley!
Go ahead and start talkin’ feces about Gallop Bob. It worked out really well with FOX didn’t it?
Why is it that the ‘Pubs always have bedwetters like Scott McClellan and Marlin Fitzwater as press spokesmen and the ‘Dems always have nasty little weasels like Mike McCurry and Gibbs.
I wish that we could dismiss the goat loving Bammer.
Standard operating procedure from President Axelrod and his acolytes, Rahmbo and Urkel (the guy in the nice suit who raises his chin and then reads things from the Teleprompter).
Denounce any critics or negative news as either:
a. irrelevant or stupid (in this case)
b. evil (Fox news, all of Wall Street, health insurance companies, Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk radio, etc.)
c. evil republicans (teabaggers, astroturf, etc.)
Is Gibbs saying the people polled are six year olds, because that is where the data for the graph came from? The only word I can think of to describe this bunch is ‘hubris’. They are in their own world, completelydetached from reality.
