The White House "party crashers" will plead the fifth if they're called before the House Homeland Security Committee, First Read reports.
A lawyer for the couple reportedly indicated to chairman Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) that his clients would invoke their right against self-incrimination if asked about how they got into a state dinner without being invited.
The committee will vote tomorrow on whether to subpoena the couple, who turned down a non-binding request to testify.
It worked for those who were encouraged not to testify against Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Good grief, folks, this is the Kenyan Klod administration.
More crooks have visited the White House since January ‘09 than lived in San Quenton. (Although the SQ crooks were probably more trustworthy than any in the OBamaloon cabinet.)
Maybe this is a dumb question. What is their crime?
They’ll probably plead a fifth of Jack Daniels.
Breitbart discovered that the felon, Robert Creamer, who wrote the script that White House is following on health care, was in attendance that same night. The “party crashers” are a misdirection.
They do not dare to rat out the insider that arranged their entry.

What they really need to do is identify themselves as “undocumented guests.”
Two more place settings should have been set for them. Just because they weren’t officially invited doesn’t mean they should be treated like criminals. Maybe they should get free health care, free housing, free legal services and free White House green cards, so next time they can bring their families and relatives too!
How can anybody be mad at them just because they crossed over some arbitrary man made border? They were only there to do the things that regularly invited guests didn’t want to do - like hang out with Joe Biden.
After all, aren’t these all the same people who wish amnesty for “undocumented workers?”

I think I read that it was criminal trespassing; the reason people are concerned is that there are photos of BHO with this couple from 2005. The husband founded some type of charity for the “palestinians,” and each year has some polo event.
Well the nationality of the feet not withstanding, it's not the first time that has happened.
That would be my defense: I showed up and they let me in. If I wasn’t welcome, they were free to make me leave.
This reminds me of the time that my wife and I “crashed” a corporate party near Idaho Falls, Idaho. We were west of town when I saw the Budweiser brewery on the edge of town. Since Idaho Falls was our destination and we had nothing to do for a few hours, we decided to drive over and check out the brewery. We thought maybe we could get a tour or check out the gift shop or something. When we drove up, there was a party right in front of the place. The Budweiser Clydesdales were there and it was a big to-do. We pulled into the parking lot saying to each other, “We better just turn around and get out of here, we’ll try another day.”
Pulling into the parking lot, some kid who looked about 16 pointed us to a parking spot. I said to my wife, “Let’s see if we can see the Clydesdales for a minute, then let’s take off.” We walked right up to the party with another young kid telling us that “the Clydesdales are right over there, please no smoking and don’t do anything to startle the horses. Food and drink is over there, have a great time and welcome.” Nobody asked us for anything. That’s how most things are in life: if you act like you know what you’re doing and act like you’re supposed to be there, people don’t usually question anything.
Since we really weren’t supposed to be there, we didn’t eat their food or partake in any drinks. We just checked out the Clydesdales for about 10 minutes, then left. It was pretty cool.
What laws were my wife and I breaking, if any? To be cited for trespassing, I think you have to be asked to leave and warned by the cops not to come back (varies from state to state). But the talk of what laws the White House crashers violated is probably moot. If the White House wants you prosecuted, you’re gonna get prosecuted. I’ll bet this is something where your lawyer haggles with the prosecutor for a plea bargain that, if you’re smart, you’ll take it and cut your losses.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that for the Budweiser party that we quasi-crashed, it probably helped that I was wearing Dockers, a golf-style shirt with a collar, and leather shoes that weren’t real dressy but they weren’t tennis shoes, either. My wife was dressed about the same. We were dressed business-casual like everybody else there, I’m sure that helped a lot. If we looked like bumpkins or it was black-tie formal, we probably would’ve been told to hit the road.
Were they invited to crash the party as a way to get rid of some secret service men? Maybe the White House wants visitors that only “their team” will see. I’d like to know who invited these people ...
