WASHINGTON – Sean Hannity today defended Sarah Palin's recent comments about Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility for the presidency and WND's pursuit of the story.

He said the question about his original, long-form birth certificate has still not been answered.

"What was so wrong in saying that, 'Can we see your birth certificate?' ... We were told early on that, in fact, somebody else had looked at it and confirmed that it was legitimate. So, I mean, what was wrong with people saying, 'Wait a minute. You know what? In light of the fact of where your, your father came from, et cetera, uh, let's just make sure that this is a legitimate birth certificate'? ... It was not asked by the mainstream media. It was asked by places like WorldNetDaily, who, I think, were just doing due diligence considering it's a constitutional mandate. ... I think a lot of people were just afraid to ask the question."

And the Right can ask for

Obama to make public his vault copy birth certificates showing he was born in Hawaii

DNA testing of Barack Obama and one or more of alleged half-brothers of the same father would settle that question easily. Y-DNA is inherited from one’s father and all sons of the same father have pretty much the same Y-DNA as their father, with only very minor mutations occasionally. It’s just a very good way of asking, “I have produced records, why hasn’t Obama?” It is a way that passes the follow-on grunt work to people like Hannity and others who are able to do such work.

Basically, there are TWO birth certificate arguments going on at once. One is the “birther” matter and cannot be won by either side unless the birth certificate is either produced or declared non-existent.

The other is Obama’s UNWILLINGNESS to produce the birth certificate (like his thesis and college grades). We are WINNING that argument BIGTIME and will KEEP winning it as long as he doesn’t produce any of this stuff.

And he is NOT going to produce ANY of it. EVER.

Which means, there is a way to JUST KEEP WINNING.

Focus entirely on his UNWILLINGNESS TO PRODUCE and let others speculate on why. A legitimate cnadidate for president such as Sarah Palin can’t afford to speculate.

Of course, you could say that Sean didn't really raise this issue. That left-wing interviewer raised it, and Sarah replied that she didn't need to ask about the birth certificate because the PEOPLE were already asking about it--and had a perfect right to ask about it.

But that raises the point I remember making last fall. Sean doesn't need to raise this issue personally. Rush doesn't need to raise it personally. All they have to do is mention that OTHER PEOPLE are raising it, and that it is an interesting news item.

Why not? Why have they failed to do that? If Obama prevails, they're going to get whacked with some version of the Fairness Doctrine anyway. So, we've got to see to it that Obama doesn't prevail. And one important way to undermine his ability to ram through legislation is to raise legitimate questions about his legitimacy.

He is a corrupt liar, who is not eligible to be President. There. I've said it. Now, Obama, prove us wrong. Millions of Americans think you are a fake. Show us your birth certificate.

The one who could bring this to the main stream after what Sarah Palin has commented on this is Glenn Beck.
Have Glenn Beck do 3 or 4 day expose on this.
