As I wrote here yesterday, I believe the feeding frenzy currently taking place at the Copenhagen trough will result in the ultimate global governance of every man woman and child on the planet. A climate treaty may not actually be signed and agreed upon by the 192 countries whose representatives are currently living LARGE on caviar and limousines at the conference, but the rules such a treaty might impose will still take effect.
The main reason to believe this will happen is that President Barack Obama has pulled an end run around the American people and the legislators they have elected by having the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) declare carbon a toxic pollutant, despite the fact that all life on the planet is basically carbon-based. But fascists can never be swayed by facts and Obama has shown that when it comes to imposing his draconian agenda he isn’t particularly squeamish about violating the principles of the Constitution or the rights of the people.

Well, if carbon dioxide is a pollutant then as an example for the rest of us Congress should hold its breath, starting now.

More and more, people have to start thinking about getting back to the soil. Feeding the masters in Washington only makes them stronger, and the American people only become more enslaved. If they're not going to free us, we're going to have to free ourselves.

The reason the EPA declared “greenhouse gases” to be toxic is as plain as the nostrils on Henry Waxman’s face. Congress realizes that passing the Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill would impoverish Americans to a degree previously only seen during the Great Depression and its passage would spell political suicide for all those who supported it. So it’s clear that in order to get what he wants, Barack Obama has basically co-opted the Congress and is imposing his agenda through the regulatory back door.

I have been saying this. No one gets the whole picture but a few.
The answer is impeachment for aiding, abetting comforting the enemy. Obama must be held accountable. Republicans need to stop fearing the first black POTUS race card crap! Someone, anyone, classs, class, class, anyone- official in government or the private sector needs to speak out. If everyone continues to infight for ‘their candidate in 2012’
and fight pub primaries now while this usurper becomes king, or thinks pubs or any third party; will fix this in 2010. They need to see while it is rightious and forthright, it is a waste of time.
I believe Obama needs to be arrested and tried for treason and giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
Per Krauthammer, Obama is using the EPA to blackmail Congress into passing Cap and Trade. He goes on to say that if the EPA forces environmentalism on America, there will be revolution.
Regarding Krauthammer himself, as much as his analyses are profoundly incisive, he is often wrong in his conclusions. This time, however, I think he is correct in thinking that Obama will try to force Cap and Trade AND that there will be a revolution of sorts.
The notion that Obama will, in the end, be drawn to the center by practical considerations has been thoroughly debunked. Obama is a devout Marxist and will stop at nothing to bring his New Amerika into being.
So are they going to declare the world’s ocean, the biggest creator of CO2, the enemy?
They going to declare a cap and trade progam on the pacific ocean? I’m sure Al Gore’s figuring out a way to make it work...
