Why was Major Nidal Malik Hasan not in custody before the Ft. Hood massacre?

Posted on 12/09/2009 11:05:51 AM PST by reaganator

Many actions of Major Nidal Malik Hasan prior to the Ft. Hood massacre should have made it apparent to many that he was an Islamic jihadist yet he was left to remain among our American military patriots.

Major Hasan gave a bizarre lecture to the medical staff while at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in which he said the Quaran teaches that infidels should have their heads cut off and set on fire.

During other instances, Major Hasan had stated to other military personnel that Muslims had the right to rise up and attack Americans in retalliation for the war in Iraq.

He said he was "happy" when a U.S. soldier was killed in an attack on a military recruitment center in Arkansas in June.

He said to other military personnel, "maybe people should strap bombs to themselves and go to Times Square.

According to the FBI, within days of the shooting, reports began to surface that Hasan had been in Email communication with a jihadist Imam and al Qaeda recruiter named Anwar al Awlaki. Awlaki had ties to three 9/11 hijackers, was of great concern to investigators and is why his email was under surveillance.

President Obama, his Department of Justice led by Eric Holder and others in his Administration has shown willingness to investigate and possibly prosecute many executing the War on Terror.

Since many had to know, by his statements and actions, that Major Hasan was a Islamic jihadist and all that was missing was the soon to come victims of his actions, why was he not in custody?

Seems to me, no one was willing to risk their careers and possible prosecutions by suggesting Major Hasan should be held in custody before he actually killed someone.

It's a simple equation; Islamic Jihadist terrorist-fear of prosecution because of the current Administration-a weapon-dead Americans.

Major Hasan- hand held firearms- fear of prosecution because of the current Administration-13 dead and many wounded Americans.

The weapon in this equation could be nuclear and there could be tens of thousands dead Americans.

Elections do have consequences.

I'm interested to know all statements and actions by Major Hasan that would have indicated that he was an Islamic jihadist.

You seem to imply that if someone else were the President this wouldn’t have happend? The guy was nuts, it didn’t matter what letter was behind the president’s name. This was going to happen no matter who the CiC was.

Yes, they do. Hasan had a BAD history long before Obama. Bush was in the forefront of being soft on these types, led by his number # advisor, muslim convert, ‘let ‘em all in’, amnesty lover Grover Norquist. THEY opened the door for Obama on this.

Because the CiC is a Muslim chimp.

Next question.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

We are so afraid to appear to go against their First Amendment rights that we allow Jihadists to live among us until the time that they will actually commit an act of terrorism.

There have to be victims first before action is taken. That’s why the Jihadists will always be one step ahead of our law-enforcement agencies. We are giving our enemy privileges that we do not even give to ourselves. In fact, we allow our enemy to knowingly live among us.

We are suicidal.

I believe that because of the actions of the current Administration demonstrating there willingness to attack and prosecute those that have been protecting this nation from the Islamic jihadist many will not risk their careers.

Three of the worst terrorists had information professionally extracted from them that potentionally saved thousands of American lives. These American military professionals was called “torturers” by President Obama.

Risk your career if you dare. If you stop a massacre from happening, you have prevented the cause for your action and are subject to attack.

All liberals should be very pleased that not one of Major Hasan’s civil rights were violated right up to the time he destroyed so many American military lives.
