As far as I know, there has only been one who fits the category: Barack Hussein Obama. And fittingly, he is probably the only president born after 1776 who is not a native born American citizen, perhaps not even an American citizen at all! FYI, Zinn became a TV “star” a few years ago when PBS created a documentary based on his “People's History” and interviewed him in segments of it. Wonder how many public school teachers made their pupils watch it.

Obama wasn’t raised in America, that is certain. He did not grow up in an America loving household (at least until after age 10). Momma was globe trotting, trying to find something “else”.

I would agree with you that they were on the left in the 1960s and that Clinton was a "doper" (he used marijuana but "did not inhale" - LOL!). But neither was a "Red Diaper Baby", which means that neither was born into a family with parents who were Red - at least in so far as we know. That distinguishes those two from O.

However, IIRC, Al Gore’s dad was a Red, or at least a sympathizer, or at least a willing shill, paid off by Armand Hammer. And recall how close he came to being President.
