You know, it appears that everyone has completely forgotten that Arpaio endorsed ultra-liberal Janet Napolitano for governor of Arizona. He appeared on TV campaigning for her, etc. He helped Napolitano defeat conservative Republican and former AZ GOP Chairman Matt Salmon. Napolitano went on to be appointed by Obama as head of the Department of Homeland Security.
The McCain haters don’t allow little things like facts get in the way.

Not everybody has forgotten.
Even so it was inexcusable. A 2006 endorsement I could very grudgingly forgive since she was gonna win in anyway but in 2002, inexcusable it could have been a difference in her narrow win against a good Republican. I’d think twice about backing the Sheriff for higher office.
I hope Hayworth thwacks that old coot McLame though. He ain’t the worst RINO Senator W. Seymour but he’s bad enough, he’s taken the lead on the wrong side of too many issues, seems like he’s co-sponsored bad legislation with half the rats in Washington. He also was very close to accepting John Kerry’s offer to be his running mate in 04. And his white house campaign was an embarrassment. Those are all facts by the way. Time for him to go home to one of his wife’s 50 houses.
