Wasnt Barry a little more chubby IRL than this statue suggests? You know, like one of those overweight kids he and Michelle want to lecture and control? You're right, and here he is.
The statue doesn't look the way Barry looked back then. What they've done is shrunk down present-day Obama, and made him look like a child. In reality, his face at the time was very different.
Here's the statue from the front. It's pure fantasy.
