I wasn't sure under which topic this thread should go..
In a previous post here on FR, I gave a link to a page on my personal website/blog where I had embedded some live streaming of Fox News. I decided to do it after Blinkotv did away with FNC.
So many people relied on that service to watch FNC..Lately a lot of folks have been forced to cut their cable or satellite subscriptions due to the current financial mess we're in.
To make a very long story short, I had an experience with some not-so-friendly folks who decided to check out my website domain in the whois registry and post my personal information online..since then I've been getting all kinds of spam..e-mail and phone calls. When I first bought the site, I never anticipated that I would need a private domain registration- so I left it public. Big mistake!
So- I'm posting this to let everyone know who had the old site bookmarked that the domain name has changed (private now) and the streams are now being hosted at:
http://www.foxnewsunderground.com
There are three Fox News Live Streams and one for Fox Business Channel. There's also the ability to chat with other folks while you're watching..kinda like the old TikiLive site.
That's all. Just wanted you to know so you could update your bookmarks if you had the old link saved.
Thanks, Joe

Thanks for doing this Joe I think it’s cool.
Let me guess, was it lefties who gave you trouble? (I don’t call them liberals anymore, they don’t liberate anything.)
Sure wish you would stream in something other than Real.
Bookmarked.
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
Thanks, Joe. I’ll update my list. I really depend on you.
Awesome ! Now I get my fox fix again. Big Thanks !
Thanks. I cancelled TV not for financial reasons, Thank God. I did it because I refuse to put money in the lib news media’s pocket. The cable and sat TV companies divide say your $50 monthly bill and every nnetwrok or channel gets a piece. Probably an avg of $1 a month. You may wavoid CNN or MSNBC etc etc but you are still giving them your money.
I quit. Millions more should because they will lead us to islamic serfdom.
Thank you. I DID download the RealPlayer but it said it wasn’t ‘communicating’ so will try in the morning. Appreciate your providing this service.
“Let me guess, was it lefties who gave you trouble? (I dont call them liberals anymore, they dont liberate anything.”
I now refer to them only as Marxist and neo-Marxist.
ANYONE that still supports Obammie has to be a Marxist/Communist.
Thank you! THANK YOU~!
Thanks for the new link, but I have a problem, and I had this with another streaming link, no volume, even with amplified speakers.
I have to use earphones.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
I’m having the same problem with Firefox, but only after the browser has been open for 4-5 hours. If I restart it audio and video are fine....for another 4-5 hours ;)

Google for Real Player Alternative.
Its faster than Real and does the same thing.
Thanks...Interesting. I like creativity.
“Im having the same problem with Firefox,”
Well, I am now on IE.
I have been using Firefox, which I really like, but may have to give it up. My computer stays online 24/7 but
my Firefox slows to a crawl and becomes useless.
Seems that with every new Firefox upgrade, it gets worse.
I rebooted this morning with only IE7 to see how it goes.
I wish someone could tell me how to fix Firefox, as it is so much nicer then IE.

OK...Meant to bump that thread, but a cut and paste from another board thread got pasted. Sorry.
bump thanks for link
I’m trying to think if I have ever had a computer problem that was NOT related to RealPlayer...
...nope...
...and anything worth the trouble of another RealPlayer experience...
Sorry, no. Not Fox; not even to hear the songs on jolson.org.
PINGING THE COMRADES............ANOTHER LIVE STREAM LINK TO WATCH BECK!
Cool! Thanks!
On Fox stream 1, I’m getting nothing
On Fox stream 2, I’m getting TVPC
On Fox HQ I’m getting Justintv
On Fox Business, I’m getting nothing.
I’m I doing something wrong?
thanks Joe for your hard work. It is appreciated
Hey, thanks!
Joe, where is your first stream from?
I’m looking for a backup that is not coming from Freedocast or TVPC.
We had tons of links for FoxNews until Blinko went down. Then they all went out because they were actually streaming from Blinko.
If Freedocast goes down, we have no stream unless you have another stream.
When I want to reduce memory usage without losing my place I'll hibernate the computer then resume. The hibernation cycle usually recovers enough wasted memory to get get the apps out of paging.
Since Blinko quit FOX I have been using tvpc, but I cannot get any volumn with them. Not sure I want to download RealPlayer either.
Real Player - yuck. Maria Cantwell and her minions can keep their gigantic turd.

Yes, the sound isn’t great. Try here:
http://freetubetv.net/index.php
They carry Fox (it’s on the main page, in the Top 5 list) and the sound is better. Not a lot better but better. :)
Freetubetv also carries a bazillion other channels. No RealPlayer required.
Thank you! I’ve had VLC for a while but never noticed it does that.
I just registered a domain name and declined the private option. Do you think that is a mistake? There will be nothing political on it....
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you,
I’m so happy!

I am now SO HAPPY!

Don't forget to check out this site too:
http://freetubetv.net/index.php
They have lots more channels. Who needs to pay cable?
Thanks, but how do I get rid of that orange add that says FreeTv and Download now that takes up half the TV screen?
I dunno! Try another browser? Change your settings?
Ok, I tried putting the cursor on the player, just below the pause button. A drop down offers “This Frame” and when that’s highlighted another menu appears saying “Show only this frame” which opens another window showing only the player, no ads.
I’m using Firefox with windows xp.
Oops, forgot the right click thingy. Put cursor just below pause button, right click, “this frame” highlight ...”show only this frame.”
That worked for me.
Or you could shut your right eye! :)
Thanks. I will try it later with the curser thing. I don’t know why but when I go to sites like these I can’t seem to get out of them and end up having to use the ctrl alt delete to shut all the way down in order to get out of them. :-(
You probably need to explore the capabilities of your browser. Go into its tools and see what options there are for blocking popup ads. Might try blocking cookies for all but a few sites in which they’re useful (like FR).
And stay outta the worst sites like townhall.com! When I go there I need to ctrl-alt-del too, it’s like walking into a blizzard.
I just checked my settings and it looks like I am pretty well covered to prevent pop-ups and cookies.
Add ons kill firefox. You can try disabling them by going to tools, add-ons.
Or, you could try google chrome. Very light and resource friendly.
