I don’t know if they’ll use this event to further the removal of God from public, but it’s a cause that is marching forward doubletime.
(Psa 2:1-3) “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? {2} The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, {3} Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”
Liberalism, and intellectual pride runs high here.
The psych states that Johnson’s son, “… does not appear to be a threat to himself or others at this time”, as if people who draw stick figures of Jesus are suspicious. In reality, it is a State that sees such as alarming that is a threat to itself and others at this time.
This was total Attention Seeking/Money Grubbing by the father.

I’m almost nostalgic for Balloon Boy, this story is so stupid. At leate Balloon Dad didn’t come right out and say “GIVE ME MONEY HUR DUR HUR”.

“I also think they should give him a fully paid scholarship to the school of his choice. We should be compensated for our pain and suffering.”
I’d like to use this event to further the removal from the public arena attention-whoring parents selling their children to the media for money.

I concur. And/but, we the people are handing over the responsibility of raising our children to the state. I’m just willing to bet that there were other Christian interpretations in that class that did not alarm the teacher. This particular case was blown WAY out of proportion by the school, but it was about the comment the kid said about himself being on the cross. I just don’t get why the teacher couldn’t handle it herself; talked with the kid, talked with his parents, etc. Why was this escalated to what we see here? And to make matters worse, the dad plays the race card, as if it has application to any opening he can shoot his mouth off into.
Teachers are told to be alarmed by tiny incidents like this because some kids go on shooting sprees later in life and their second grade teacher didn’t interpret their drawings correctly to see that they would become mass murderers.(the blame game crap)
Those are some pimps, for sure. LOL

I was making a point of how ridiculous it is. I don’t go along either. mvpl’s post 98 shows more than the articles I had read on this matter.
