Cease and Desist any and all charges brought against the United States Navy Seals Listed Below.
We the people feel as a collective that known terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed injured himself after resisting arrest.
Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for wilfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.
Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.
Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.
A person may not use physical force to resist a lawful arrest by a police/militery officer who is known or reasonably appears to be a peace officer. Resisting an arrest is a misdemeanor. Resisting arrest typically involves an arrestee physically struggling with an officer as he tries to place on handcuffs, or when the arrestee struggles as he is being placed in a patrol car or jail cell.
Let's stop the political show trials of troops. Let's stop betraying American patriots for the sake of political power. These men who have risked their very lives so that we can live in peace and freedom are being threatened with jail as criminals. This is a grotesque betrayal, of them, and of everything we believe!

Agreed this is the petition to sign, especially because it requires verification (captcha codes and email). the oher petitions do not verify and thus the numbers can be inflated. Folks like Gaqtes and Congress look at things like that so it’s important to have a peititon that verifies its signers.
