The original name was the “German Workers Party” in 1919, they added the “National Socialist” afterwards.

I didn't know that, but it doesn't seem to matter concerning the connection of Nazism with socialism, unless the 1919 name somehow represented a non- a socialist party - which I'm sure it didn't.

Auschwitz had a sign that said "Work Makes You Free" - so what?

And that is what we have allowed to be renamed 'capitalism' but its really just freedom.
