Does anyone here honestly believe that the 2010 election process is going to be on the up and up? How long before registered Dems get 1.5 votes each?

But, they know once they get it passed, no matter how unpopular it is or how many seats it cost them, it's never going away.
For the Republicans to turn back this bill, they'd have to take back the House, take back the Senate - with a super-majority - and take back the White House in 2012, because Obama will surely veto anything the GOP would manage to get passed before the expiration of his first (and hopefully last) term.
I am so upset that if I posted half of the stuff I told my wife just now I’d be doing a disservice to this site and would probably get a knock on my door.
Washington DC has become the enemy of this country...I just don’t know what to say anymore.
Does this mean that they will have to start the reading of the bill like DeMint and others threatened at 1 am or can they exclude that?

Just made a trip to DU. They are as upset by this as we are. That does help a little bit. I know it’s for different reasons, but it’s still a bit of a shock.
Truth is we shouldn’t be needing a single Dem senator to save the country. The rats have super majorities and this is the price the country pays for that. Its little more than fine theater that it took this long to pass. In the end it was never in doubt. Zero has too much riding on this.
The Government it out of money folks. That’s gonna be what saves us. She cannot pay her bills.

Sue them at one second past midnight on Monday for violation of their oath of office.
Some judge somewhere would issue an injunction. File a writ of some kind. A show cause for abrogating the terms of the Constitution, for threatening to require a payment made by every American for a federal program. Sue them for graft, bribery and for the amount of money they project will be collectede. Sue them for emotional distress and lost wages, for discrimination based on extortion. Bring them up on RICO charges, for proposing slavery of every American citizen, as a result of their accepatance of Obama money.
Make them show us their signatures in the book they collect of the oaths of office they sign. Every last one of them. File a write to make them prove who they are, that they are of sound mind and body.
Sue the ba$tards.

I suspect we don’t have “standing”. Besides I think they’ve already written themselves a law that says they can’t be prosecuted for crap like this.
This proposed law is in violation of the 13th and 14th Amendments of the US Constitution, in that is both enslaves us to the federal government, and it eliminates our rights to due process over our physical bodies under the law.

We here know this is the reason the US Revolution occurred. For any ONE citizen denied care or fired because of age and then denied care for some reason, any reason, this is tyranny. They are over their budget limit in fact.

Apparently Ben Nelson sold his vote for a Medicaid expense exemption for NE for ALL TIME - FOREVER - just as NV and VT got. Senator Saxby Chambliss - our Senator from GA - just said on Fox News that it’s not business as usual - it’s far worse!
Senator Coburn said it will turn people off government for all time. I think he’s got that right.
Too disgusted to accomplish much of anything since I woke up to Nelson’s sellout this a.m.
