Amen!
You said:
“The Dems have won the debate and will get their health care bill and it will never be rolled back.”
I said:
Wrong.
The Dims have won nothing.
There will be war! The shooting kind.
Yep. So if thier future is bright, then this is just them pushing forward into victorious totalitarian rule. But if their future is dark, then this is like Hitler ordering Paris and Berlin to be destroyed out of sheer spite over losing the war.
Personally, I don't think God will abandon America - at least, the principles of freedom which America represents. How, exactly, it will all shake out, however... remains to be seen.
So you don’t think the bill will pass? I’m having a hard time understanding exactly what you’re trying to say (except that I’m wrong). Last chance. Tell me where I’m wrong. Saying I’m wrong again won’t cut it.
They had better be scared, their health bill is nothing but a hugh tax hike with very little chance it will be spent on healthcare.
I believe you may be correct; it may come to that to restore the Constitution and rid the country of the Nazi socialist democrat party.
*<[;o)~~ Merry Christmas and burn Congress to the ground in the New Year!
They damn well better be!
No sir you are not. You are a realistic, you are facing a truth and don't ever call yourself a pessimistic. I'm with you like the majority of real Americans.
But they don't care, then means enough to them for them to lose their jobs if necessary to make it happen.
What they know is this... IF they manage to pass it, it will probably never be undone.
Imagine if you had the power to stop abortions but doing so would cost you your job... wouldn't you do it anyway? especially if you knew there was a good chance that it would be permanent? That is what is motivating the democrats.
Telling them they are going to lose in 2010 if they pass this, is just pointing out the obvious to them.
The way to get them to kill it is to have the Republicans as a group commit to repealing this if they regain control of congress... that would make them think MUCH harder about the situation, because then they would be giving up their jobs for NOTHING.
I’m sorry but it’s politics and if you get your agenda enacted you win. It’s that simple and the mere fact that you consider it rape is totally irrelevant.
If it passes, America dies
Tanner is my RatRep. I think he’s running for Gov in 2010. He’s been in the House 28 or 30 years. It’s way past time for him to go. The Republicans haven’t been able to field a decent candidate in the past 20 years - and will probably disappoint again. If they pick up the seat, it’ll be a surprise to me.
Until every corrupt elected official or appointed judiciary is afraid of being tarred and feathered for treason, until the outcry of the public is such that people march on every federal, state and local government building demanding that the will of the people be done and the constitution be restored, until every entitlement program conceived by the socialists in this country is repealed, until....
This isnt over by a long shot.
A step in the right direction, but not over, not even close.
Not buying it. This is a government takeover. What’s the use if you won’t be the one in power? These people aren’t willing to lose their “jobs” over an idealistic view. There’s much more going on.
They’re going to rig the elections anyway.
I agree, ExTexasRedhead, but why do I get the feeling that Obama/Pelosi/Reid have more tricks up their sleeves in order to fix the 2010 and 2012 elections? We won't forget, but many idiots in this country will forget - or don't even know or care what their Congress critters are doing and have done - and will continue to vote for 'RATs.
This healthcare monstrosity is the last straw for me... Americans are SO screwed, and most of them don't even realize what has just happened. I have pretty much ZERO optimism for the future of this once-great country at this point.
Guess who they will all vote for in future elections? And the 50 million plus that pours into the country will make the small Conservative majority we keep hearing about, look like a Ron Paul rally.
