Vanity - Obamacare Is Our "Inshallah" Moment
Me

Posted on 12/19/2009 1:17:49 PM PST by Feline_AIDS

This morning I woke up to a lovely blanket of snow, and the ugly news that Nelson's vote had been bought for Obamacare. It got me thinking. I love this country, and because of the love that I have for it, I respect its offices and officials. But with the pending passage of Obamacare, things are changing. It’s important for me to be able to make the distinction between America and its invader. The invader is Marxism.

But Marxism isn’t so simple to identify. Many Americans, especially my generation (I’m 23), grew up believing that we defeated “communism” and that we don’t have to worry about it anymore. The collective mistake we’ve made is that history is always marching forward, always learning from its mistakes. Besides, we think, people just used the fear of communism as an excuse to bully one another. That’s what “McCarthyism” was, after all. What is Marxism, though?

Marxism all comes down to guilt. We’re a divided nation. Half of us (the left) stumble around with a deep and painful guilt that just can’t be shaken. Because of this, the left feels as though it is only right to alleviate the pain of others, hoping to somehow atone for what they’ve done to feel guilty in the first place. But they don’t know what they’ve done. They just can’t figure it out.

The other half (the right) has the same guilt. Unlike the left, however, they know what to call it, and they know what it is. Not everyone on the right is a Christian, but because they’re embracing the overarching ideas of Christianity, (equality, responsibility for oneself, etc.) they understand the concept of imperfection. Christians would call that guilt “original sin.” The left rejects Christianity absolutely, mainly because they feel as though Christians exacerbate the haunting guilt by both appearing to have overcome it, and by trying to live up to standards that the left feels it has fallen short of.

This guilt causes leftists to become defensive and “progressive.” They are like ill-informed doctors bleeding their patients from more and more veins because they’re not seeing an improvement. But they’re too defensive to listen to the other doctors who recommend different treatments. They’re determined to make “fix” the patient, even though the patient is dying from the cure.

Marxism is systematic irresponsibility. Marxism intends to provide for all by making everyone as uncomfortable as everyone else. It’s a political system conceived in and organized around envy. It’s a zero-sum-fallacy lifestyle, meaning the prevailing belief is that if someone has something, someone else doesn’t.

This same envy and zero-sum-fallacy lifestyle is the foundation of Obamacare. If the rich can pay for the best healthcare, then the poor must be dying in the streets. The poor and their advocates don’t understand why more laws can’t make healthcare more fair. They refuse to listen to the others in the room, the ones saying that maybe we need fewer laws instead.

Similarly, Islam is systemic irresponsibility. A common phrase among Islamic people is “Inshallah.” It means, “If god wills it.” This is an irresponsibility that takes all blame from cause and effect and lays it at the feet of an indifferent god. This frame of mind keeps Islam in the dark ages. It is really just glorified irresponsibility.

The reason Islam is important to this discussion is because Islam is the most backward force on the planet, largely because of “Inshallah.” Obamacare is America’s “Inshallah.” It is the moment that we hand over our health, lives and individualism to an indifferent government.

This is the point at which Americans must make a difficult decision. Do we accept “Inshallah,” or do we fight? Do we become children and peasants who accept the gifts that the elite deign to toss to us or do we demand the freedom to pursue our happiness as true equals?

This will not be an easy fight. It will not be inexpensive, nor will it be painless. It is time for us to choose men and women who represent our values and elect them to the legislative and executive branches of our government. We must expose the greedy and selfish politicians for who they really are, and replace them immediately.

This means taking these truths into the public eye and keeping them there. Visibility is the way to show Americans that capitalism and freedom paired with a small government mean prosperity, liberty, and equality. What we need is an information revolution to avoid one of blood.

We need to work with each other and see the bigger picture without changing our beliefs or standards. Our agenda is for the good of everyone, and therefore there is no reason to hide it or cloak it in something else. I’m convinced that many people don’t think there is another way than Marxism, because as I said earlier, we falsely believe that history is always improving on itself.

It’s time to show America its own potential by settling for nothing less than true conservatism, which intends to preserve this country’s founding principles and methods. We need to take our message to the streets. For too long we’ve been silent and involved in our own lives while the invader has gone to work right under our noses, planting seeds that are now blooming and laying the tracks to carry in their “fundamental” change of this country.

Silent no more, we must be loud, honest, and unwavering. Our message is one of equality, prosperity, and freedom, and we must make our passion visible and fervent.

We can win this fight. It is a matter of commitment.

I’ve always said I’d die for this country. And I would. But I don’t want to die at the hands of this country instead of in sacrifice for it. So I’m going to do what I can to save it, because it is good and right. We have been invaded; we are being oppressed. I’m going to throw of the chains of liberalism/Marxism/socialism, and I’m going to do it with words, with information, with truth. This is a good fight, and it’s certainly worth our efforts. It was never more true than it is now:

Give me liberty, or give me death!

Marxism is systematic irresponsibility.

I think of it as non-responsibility, but I think we're basically in agreement. Good post, it cuts to the root of things.

And I guess things are getting down to the root, eh?

What a fantastically well written "vanity" post. Unfortunately too many are posted here on FR that don't even have spell or grammar checks.

I want to congratulate you for both the content and the excellent presentation. You have hit the nail on the head. And it is quite re-assuring that at your age you have such a fine grasp of our republic's founding.

If I were one of the other 57 senators, I’d really be pissed that Lousiana, Nebraska, and Nevada all got special considerations, while I’m considered a patsy Democrat that can’t get something special for my constituants.

Maybe we can foment some anger amongst the patsy’s to stop this obamanation!

I will resdpectfully disagree with your premise that it is somehow guilt that is driving the left and the right.

It is power pure and simple. In the entire history of man there have always been certain people/groups who have tried to conquer the world. Nmaes such as Alexander the Great, The Roman Empire, Hitler, etc., etc.

In todays case, it is the “ideology” of marxism/communism that is being used. Their goals are straight forward. Take wealth from capitalists (after they have done all the work) and redistrubute it to “buy” the support of the rest of the worlds citizens. It is practiced every day..ie. witness how todays Liberals constantly use the tactics of divide and conquer. Those big banks caused the near economic collapes and the greedy CEO’s must pay (redistribution of their wealth). Also apply the same principles to the global warming hoax...it is simply a way to take from the people who are willing to work to give to those less inclined.

The net result is that the marxist/communist gains the power of the $ thru taxes, regulation, etc.

Witness todays ultimate communist/marxist utopias....Cuba and North Korea. Once our private property, our money, our rights, are turned over to the gov’t, we’re screwed. We hasvre but a short window to change/prevent this from happening. Once we are dependent on the gov’t for our healthcare and food, we are doomed to enslavement.

No, McCarthy was right! The liberals would have you think that McCarthy trials were a witch-hunt; they tell lies, like the Rosenbergs were framed (for spreading Nuke secrets). The declassification and release of the Venona papers in 1995 proved that the U.S. Government was infiltrated by communists and supporters. The Rosenbergs were in fact, communist agents:

this is entire bill is unconstitutional. The Ben Nelson pay off is against the 14th Amendment.. senator Hatch’s health Insurance Constitutionality Test covers this very good. This everything up until todays Nebraska Purchase of Medicaid for perpetuity (forever) this is not what is the role of government, were one state is excluded whereby others will have to pay more because certain conditions had to be meet to win favor. I say no too this bill. Yes i will even die to defend the overturn of this bill, too. I am older, but fought for this country in 1983, when the barracks I was in was blown up, 60 of us were injured and 213 were killed. i live with the pain everyday for serving this country in Lebanon. when Obama was graduating from college I was serving this country

As a senior citizen, I’m encouraged that folks your age are thinking this way. It will truely be up to the younger generations to correct the terrible wrong that others have mistakenly thrust upon this Republic. God bless you and others who haven’t abandon freedom.

Yes, it is a power grab, but guilt is used as a weapon to coerce drones to their side.

I get what you're saying about the "guilt" thing.

You're onto what drives the heart of man and moves nations in the greater scheme of things.

Of course the guilt is of the subconscious and manifests in all kinds of ways which don't seem like "guilt" but which always enrich the forces of secular humanism to the detriment of truth.

Truth is what we're fighting for, eh? Not easy, but the right thing to do!
