I stopped my daily rosary when I went into the hospital last Sunday. I’m home now and am resuming with renewed faith for our Patroness to rescue our country.
I’ll pray as well.
Psalm 109:8,’Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
Beautiful explanation. Thank you!
Beautiful explanation. Thank you!
TAPPER: And there’s a big debate right now within the Catholic Church about this bill, and a lot of these last few members that you’re trying to get are Catholic democrats who oppose abortion. And I’m wondering, first of all, how you can side with nuns over bishops?
BIDEN: That’s easy. I love the nuns.
TAPPER: And, second of all, what you’re telling I assume that some of the people you’re calling are these Catholic Democrats because you.
TAPPER: Because you have the same faith.
BIDEN: Yes. I mean, they happen to be similar (ph). I’m not calling them because of that. I’m calling a lot of people who have other concerns about the bill.
TAPPER: Right. But they are among those who you’re calling?
You're right, Salvation. They won't let up, so neither can we.
Just finished another one, keep praying.
"Let me repeat in the clearest words in my disposal. I would restate our thesis in two propositions. Proposition #1 There is no stopping abortion without an ocean of grace from Jesus Christ. No way will human means stop abortion. Proposition #2 The principle source of this grace is the Holy Eucharist."Pray, march, protest, fast, and take part in the Sacraments to abolish abortion 4-ever from this earth. Online Rosary
Thanks for a great post.
Wonderful post, mlizzy! It takes true dedication to brave the snow and sleet like that—with cheerful faces even! May God send sunny days to Aurora, Il.
I have been saying Hail Marys all day.
God bless you tremendously. I have so much to pray for after Communion: you and all the defenders of life are always in my prayers.
My daughter would love some sunny days as her
“Spring Break” starts now (so thank you!), and interestingly yesterday was 59 degrees and sunny.:)
God bless you. I need to go to bed. Back to DC in the AM.
Would anyone on the Catholic pinglist be willing to answer some questions about the Rosary for this new Catholic? Please freepmail me privately if so. Thank you and God bless you.
I have been praying the rosary every day for a change of heart for those that are intending to vote yes.
Jesus answered him, "You would have no power over me unless it had been given you from above; therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of the greater sin."
We don't always understand the ways of God, but there are reasons for everything.
Didn't today used to be Passion Sunday? I remember years ago during Mass we would read The Passion. As a child that always excited me because I knew Palm Sunday was only a week away.
I have been praying the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy for this cause for months now. And every day before Mass and during intentions, I also offer up a prayer to stop this atrocity. I am praying the Rosary now and suggest that we all add the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3PM today and every day until this is either stopped or reversed. Thank you to everyone praying for this cause. It seems to be our only hope.
This is my favorite:
I’m glad you like it. I think it is the most beautiful version. If you listen with headphones, it will take your breath away.
My Jesus mercy.

Here’s Escriva’s Meditations on the Sorrowful with some music for meditation if needed.
I. The Prayer and Bloody Sweat of our Blessed Savior in the Garden.
Let US contemplate, in this Mystery, how Our Lord Jesus was so afflicted for us in the garden of Gethsemane, that His body was bathed in a bloody sweat, which ran down in great drops to the ground. Our Father, etc.
O MOST Holy Virgin, more than martyr, by that ardent prayer which our beloved Savior poured forth to His heavenly Father in the garden, vouchsafe to intercede for us, that, our passions being reduced to the obedience of reason, we may always, and in all things, conform and subject ourselves to the will of God. Amen.
Music for meditation: Handel Messiah- He was dispised
IL The Scourging of Our Blessed Lord at the Pillar.
LET us contemplate, in this Mystery how our Lord Jesus Christ was most cruelly scourged in Pilate’s house... Our Father, etc.
MOTHER of God, overflowing fountain of patience, through those stripes which your only and much beloved Son vouchsafed to suffer for us, obtain of Him for us grace to mortify our rebellious senses, to avoid the occasion of sin, and to be ready to suffer everything rather than, offend God. Amen.
Music for meditation: Handel Messiah - And with his stripes we are healed
III. The Crowning of Our Blessed Savior with Thorns.
LET us contemplate, in this Mystery, how those cruel [soldiers made] a crown of sharp thorns, and cruelly pressed it on the sacred head of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Father etc.
O MOTHER of Our Eternal Prince, the King of Glory, by those sharp thorns wherewith His sacred head was pierced, we beseech you obtain, through your intercession, that we may be delivered from all motions of pride, and escape that shame which our sins deserve at the day of judgment. Amen.
Music for meditation: Oh Sacred Head Surrounded
IV. Jesus Carrying His Cross.
Let us contemplate, in this Mystery, how Our Lord Jesus Christ, being sentenced to die, bore with the most amazing patience the cross which was laid upon Him for His greater torment and ignominy. Our Father, etc.
O HOLY Virgin example of patience, by the most painful carrying of the cross, in which your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, bore the heavy weight of our sins, obtain for us of him, through your intercession, courage and strength to follow His steps, and bear Our cross after Him to the end of our lives. Amen.
Music for meditation: Stabat Mater
V. The Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
LET us contemplate, in this Mystery, how Our Lord Jesus Christ, being come to Mount Calvary, was stripped of His clothes, and His hands and feet nailed to the cross, in the presence of His most afflicted Mother. Our Father, etc.
Music for meditation: Ave Verum Corpus
O HOLY Mary, Mother of God, as the body of your beloved Son was for us stretched upon the cross may we offer up our souls and bodies to be crucified with Him, and our hearts to be pierced with grief at His most bitter Passion; and you, O most sorrowful Mother I graciously vouchsafe* to help us, by your all-powerful intercession, to accomplish the work of our salvation. Amen.
Salve Regina and Prayers, as before.
Once again, our prospects for defeating this seem hopeless, but we must continue to hope and pray.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
