Who likes the president? Unchurched, unmarried, poor, inexperienced and pro-Obama
The Washington Times ^ | Saturday, December 19, 2009 | Terence P. Jeffrey

A strategist casting a cold eye on the Gallup poll tracking President Obama's job approval rating might be tempted to give our president the following advice: Sir, you need more unmarried, unchurched, poor and inexperienced Americans.

Given the polling trends, the more people who are devout, married and prosperous and have seen more than a few decades of life, the worse it will be for the president. What's good for America is bad for Mr. Obama.

Unless, of course, you think that faith, family, wealth and longevity are bad. But, then, who would think that?

Each Monday, Gallup publishes a demographic breakdown of the president's approval rating among the people it has surveyed during the previous seven-day period.

For the week of Dec. 7-13, Mr. Obama's overall approval was 49 percent, with some groups rating him significantly higher than that and some rating him significantly lower. Among people who seldom or never go to church, Mr. Obama did relatively well. Fifty-three percent said they approved of the job he is doing. Among those who go to church monthly or nearly weekly, 53 percent approved. But among weekly churchgoers, only 42 percent approved.

Who likes the president?

People who I consider to be the enemy of this country and therefore my enemy.
I don't give a damn if they are:
Unchurched
Unmarried
Poor
Inexperienced
Pro-Obama
Ignorant
Stupid
Smart
Rich
Etc.

That's just the way I feel after today.
Nuff Said.

Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne’er within him burn’d,
As home his footsteps he hath turn’d,
From wandering on a foreign strand!
If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonor’d, and unsung.

Sir Walter Scott

Millions are fed misinformation. They think he’s Will Smith from the movie, or Tiger Woods from the green. Lazy does not want here the truth.

You know, I'm actually getting a weird kind of Obama fatigue--I'm sick of reading mea culpas from all the morons who supported this guy and ignored all the warnings about him. (Not talking about this article's writer, just in general.)

I don't think I can stand three years of articles complaining about Obama from anyone, but from the left especially. It's just like the incessant Bush-bashing. How much of this bitching can we take?

If the ‘bitching’ has the same effect on DingleBarry’s approval ratings that it had on Bush’s it’s a small thing to endure.

No. The bitching is an incessant drone that has no nuance, no detail, and no examination of what actually brought us to this place.

That's the difference between bitching and valuable criticism. Bitching just personalizes what's already personal--exmaination educates so we don't make the same mistakes repeatedly. And his approval ratings aren't dropping because of it, they're dropping because people are seeing the actual substantive things he's doing, and rightly disagree with them. If they'd known he was going to be like this a year ago, he wouldn't have won. And the flip side of bitching is ridiculous, uncritical praise.

Get it?

I think I read somewhere that Zerobama’s approval numbers were significantly higher with women as opposed to the men. But I bet if you separated out the number of women who where married with children, it would be a pretty low percentage.

I’d also like to see some numbers about how many military, former military, or military families approve of Zerobama.

Since the right yielded the field to the leftists when it came to fights over education at all levels, it seems like the left has managed that advantage very well and created a large class of people who believe all the revisionist history and all the socialist lies they've been fed. Large numbers of people can't compete in a free society even if they want to after they've had years of brainwashing at the hands of the left. The don't believe the can compete and don't believe it's right for them to want to. People like that are a danger to themselves and to others and we're paying the price for letting the "education" system create them.

Right now, the battle against that sort of folks has to come first. Taking the government back is the primary thing we have to focus on, but we should all wake up and realize that ignoring the leftist control of education has consequences. Had more people been willing to suffer the slings and arrows of the name calling left in order to force them out of their positions of authority in colleges, we might not be in the mess we're in.

The next time someone talks about the independence of education and how it should be free, remind them that the climate liars used that argument for years while building a completely false “science” on behalf of their leftist masters. Education should reflect the values and morals of the majority, not be free from them and not be free to assault them.

Regards

Naturally many Obama voters thought the ultimate gravy train had finally arrived. Now they’re demanding their free lunches. For some of the deluded fools Obama was going to change the cosmos. He himself helped promulgate that ridiculous notion. Obama has revealed himself to be just another polished, lib fraud.

What's good for America is bad for Mr. Obama.

What is dangerous is that what is good for Obozo is BAD for America.

The Democrats are content to draw on the dregs of society for their support; if it had rained on Election Day, they know McCain would have won in a landslide. They fooled enough marginal whites to win in ‘08.
