Ahhhh, I see! The sign thief was actually a crazed collector, not those damn rotten neo-Nazis as the media first thought.
the 1st story contained both possibilities, but the headline presentation was “neo-nazis”. now the headline presentation is “crazed collector”. why the change in presentation? and why can’t they just report news anyway without the constant slants?
I thought at first it might have been SEIU operatives. They needed a model sign for the new Hospitals and Doctor Offices we will be forced in to by Obamacare.
In route to the sign’s hiding place, several of the authorities were involved in auto accidents as a result of missing traffic signs at various intersections...
“Ahhhh, I see! The sign thief was actually a crazed collector, not those damn rotten neo-Nazis as the media first thought.”
Rahim, Aban, Faraz, and Qubad come to mind as possible first names of those involved, the possible crazed collector may live in Iran and have some high level poitical position.
Nothing will come of it, perps will be released.
Morgana, you were correct - it was a collector.
for your list
“”Arbeit Macht Frei” is the more famous, but the sign over the gate at the Buchenwald concentration camp is also interesting: “Jedem Das Seine.” “To each his own.”
I learned a long time ago that the news was only as good as the person who reported it.
PC reporters these days are afraid of repercussions from any number of sources. Too bad. Folks need to just report the news and let us form our own opinions.
I’m glad the sign was recovered, and whoever took it needs to spend more than 10 years in prison. Preferably above the Arctic Circle.
