There's no point in the White House saying this, so it won't.
But an official predicted to me the other day that Obama's numbers would hit 60 after the health care bill passes, and Chuck Schumer seems to think roughly the same thing: that the public polling on the Democratic reform bill will turn around "soon."
When people see what is in this bill and when people see what it does, they will come around," Schumer said. "The reason people are negative is not the substance of the bill, but the fears that the opponents have laid out. When those fears don't materialize, and people see the good in the bill, the numbers are going to go up."
Okay, before I read the comments, let me say right now that IF this is true I will be sooooooo depressed.
Let me say right now that I don’t think it’s true for a minute. I think Obamer’s ratings will plummet.

And they will hit 20 (hard core commies) and he will be cursed like no other president in American history once people try to get care under this "plan."
And they will hit 0 when *everybody* (including the commies) sees what they're really paying to get this travesty.
He's already at 53% disapproval (hitting 55 once a few days back) according to Rasmussen, so that is not unlikely. I'd like to see how they spin it when he hits 70% disapproval.
Yeah Ben you’re so smart. Those 20-25% of Medicare Advantage patients are really gone to give 0bama high approval ratings after their insurance is gutted. So will the 20-30 somethings that have to pay a lot more for crummy coverage.
When people find out that they could go jail or pay a penalty, they are going to get those tingly feelings up their leg again (could be the real thing in jail).
Taxes are going up and all the private sector and especially small businesses can say is great!

I absolutely could not agree more that Obama will hit 60, as in 60% Strongly Disapprove in the daily Rasmussen tracker. He just 3 points today to 43% strongly disapprove, and I predict 50% strongly disapprove by Christmas.
I also predict that Obama couldn’t give two shits what the people of this country think about anything.
I very seriously doubt that a finished bill is available for anyone to read.
But in the age of the Internet, they are not going to be able to keep it hidden forever. Eventually, it will be published in full and at that time, thousands of people are going to be going through it line by line, word by word, letter by letter.
Think Rathergate. This is going to be a thousand times worse. Every day the Internet is going to be alive with exposes of horrific pork-filled timebombs that have been snuck into this monster by the fatcats and their friends.
The Pajamahadeen will find them all and make sure that everyone knows about them. Senators and Congressmen are going to be ducking calls and hunkering down underneath their desks because there is no way they are going to be able to defend themselves.
