Cheney left Congress with a 100% ACU rating, so I don’t think his toeing the bosses line on Amnesty is disqualifier. Palin parroted McCain’s BS. I don’t recall Cheney speaking out on the Amnesty bill at all.
He’s been right on most issues.
I’ll see if I can find out how he voted on Reagan’s amnesty.
He may not be the MOST conservative, but it sounds good to me.
