Is the sign and Semi-trailer registered as a vehicle and is it mobile? If so the why would it fall under these (fixed)sign restrictions?

After looking at the link in post number 26 I recognize the sign. Its pretty unobtrusive and in my opinion preferable to some of the other signs that loom over the highway.

I’m guessing that some of the outdoor advertizing companies are unhappy that they aren’t getting a cut of the action so they ran to the state to complain. My sister used to work in advertizing and says that they were always on the lookout for ways to injure or cripple the competition.

I noticed that too. So....it looks like he's been partly responsible for electing the type of people that he's complaining about now - the "anti-freedom" party. If this is the same guy he's getting his just desserts for his previous voting choices.

No, it’s showing that this is not a suburb. It’s out in the country, really far.

A relative of mine is opening business in a suburb. What should have taken two months for all the necessary inspections and permits is now already into 6 months.....while all the time the months grind by, big rent is being paid with no income coming in. Why?

Because every petty government bureaucrat in town has his own domain, feifdom and empire - over which he is absolute monarch. The building inspector, the fire inspector, the health inspector, the village manager....not to mention the mayor and board of trustees all of whom "welcome" and "encourage" and "need" new business in town....and then they all band together to delay, harass and nitpick every entrepeneur who wants to get his business open and operating.

Then these same petty inspectors nitpick all year, every year, and they never forget to drop in right before Christmas with a ho-ho-ho like they aren't the ignorant bastards they are.

Government minions encourage private business, my fanny.

I believe in private property rights. The sign is not hurting a thing.

My girlfriend had a similar problem when her husband put a new well on their property.. It was his own well digging equipment and the county came on his property and red tagged the rig because he had no permit...(Now this is a guy that walks around his farm with a gun strapped to his belt.)

He made a visit to the county hall and threw their little tag on the table and told them if anyone came on his property and touched his equipment without permission, they better come armed. They left him alone and there was no licensed well digger that they could go after..his property, his equipment. They never heard from the county again and had a new well..I had to laugh at him, cause his wife, my friend is just like him, wouldn't want to tangle with her either...

Visited her one day, she needed help it catching all her ring-necks for butchering...So we both had our nets and were in the pen when she stepped in a hold and went down like a rock...

I told her to stay down, I went into the house to call 911 and knew she had done some damage to her shoulder but didn't know what else was going on. She followed me into the house, pale, pasty colored, thready pulse, (going into shock). EMT came and one of the guy leaned into her face to ask her some questions and she looked him in the eye and said and I quote......Get out of my face....he moved she went to the hospital, broken elbow, pulled muscles etc...

Country boys and girls can take care of themselves...

LOL, did not say mind reading, But I have been on both sides of this issue many times. If your county has zoning and sign laws obey them, if they don't do as you please. Hiding behind the so called farmer issue is BS.
