Why let a holiday season come between the White House and making some political statements? The White House pegged controversial designer Simon Doonon to oversee the Christmas decorations for the White House. Mr. Doonon, who is creative director of Barney’s New York has often caused a stir with his design choices. Like his naughty yuletide window display of Margaret Thatcher as a dowdy dominatrix and Dan Quayle as a ventriloquist’s dummy. For this year’s White House, he didn’t disappoint.
These photos of ornaments on the White House Christmas tree in the Blue Room were taken just days ago. Of course, Mao has his place in the White House.

I read (probably here), that the wookie went downstairs in the white house and gathered up boxes of unique one of a kind hand made ornaments from previous administrations, and had them repainted. This must be the result of that.

Looks like proof to me; much better than jumping to conclusions. Whoever thought it was okay to put those on the tree should have his head examined, but not on the taxpayer’s dime.
As disgusting as these particular ornaments are, there’s a certain twisted irony that Mao is hanging from a Christmas tree branch. I’m fairly certain he would be highly insulted, which is a pleasant thought.
Unfortunately, it’s true. I walked past the TV the other night and there was Michelle on the Oprah/Obama “Christmas” special, showing the tree to Oprah. She explained that she found a box of very old ornaments in a WH storage room and had them sent around the country for people to decorate.
I remember one ornament had a peace symbol on it. Pretty disgusting - these ornaments had been in the White House for years - some may be antiques. Their goal obviously was to remove any religious tones to the “holiday” tree... the only thing Christmas like about it was the tree itself.
Yes, I can imagine the homo-pervert “community” pushed for dildo ornaments as well. Maybe they were successful.
Attack, attack attack...every symbol of our “normal” culture. The liberal/socialist/marxist freaks (nobama and his minions) know no bounds. They must be resisted in every way. Vote them out ASAP, but in the meantime: Resist! Resist! Resist! in every way possible. They are disgusting.

my 10 year old son thinks he clever, he says “we still have Bush’s number, don’t we?!” Not bad for a 10 year old.
A Christmas tree fire would be appropriate for that tree.
