Federal officials and police are interviewing a man, believed to be Nigerian, who allegedly was trying to "explode" a powdery substance aboard a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit, injuring himself and two other passengers, law enforcement officials said.

Bringing down airliners over U.S. cities on Christmas and New Years has always be a top objective of Al Qaeda after 9/11.
They have direct flights from Amsterdam to Detroit ? That’s asking for trouble right there... the Mohammadan Express.

When I worked for Ford, I went on occasion. NWA flights were no better than their domestic flights. KLM flights were heaven delivered right to your seat.

The FBI has determined the man has no connections to terrorism, doesn’t hate infidels, loves American and has never used the f word. People are advised to view eye witnesses on the plane as nuts.
TSA is undoubtedly studying the matter and will come up with a way to check for this stuff.
