I’ve seen what Detroit has become over these past 40 years or so. I’m still trying to figure out what any kind of bomb there could do that Democrats haven’t already done - and much more effectively. I keep thinking the Mayor of Detroit or the governor of Michigan might have hired the guy to do this.

A 23-year-old Nigerian man was charged in a federal criminal complaint today with attempting to destroy a Northwest Airlines aircraft on its final approach to Detroit Metropolitan Airport on Christmas Day, and with placing a destructive device on the aircraft

The United States Department of Justice will prosecute the accused to the fullest extent of the law, as the aircraft was NOT destroyed and the explosive device failed to detonate properly, if convicted the defendant will be sentenced to a remedial course in bomb making as it is clear that his mission failed.

In other news, the passengers responsible for assaulting the accused will be charged with attempted manslaughter and will be prosecuted for their denial of the victim's civil rights under United States law.

Don't laugh folks, we're not far from such a bizarro world interpretation of the law by the 0bamunist thugs and fools who have seized our government.

It was a sucessful attack in regards to the fact that now Americans have to go thru the same stupid checks like the Shoebomber made happen.

It didn't take long for new rules to be issued. Fox reporting that all passengers are now required to remain seated beginning one hour before landing with nothing on their laps and no access to overhead compartments. Of course, if your flight is only 1 to 1.5 hours long as many are, you essentially are a prisoner. Wonder if they will issue depends to passengers who have too many cups of coffee while waiting to go through security.

The plot to blow up a passenger jet was launched by al-Qaeda leaders in Yemen who apparently sewed bomb materials into the suspect’s underwear.

The suspect had more than 80 grams of PETN, a compound related to nitro-glycerin. Yesterday’s bomb failed because the detonator may have been too small or was not in “proper contact” with the explosive material.

Abdulmutallab made contact via the internet with a radical imam in Yemen who then connected him with al-Qaeda leaders. The suspect lived with the al-Qaeda leader in Yemen for about a month and was not allowed to leave as he was trained in what to do and how to do it. ....
