Barack Obama has kept his face in front of the American people nearly every day for two years from the Democratic primary, general election and first year of his presidency. Every event of note in America brings a statement from Obama and an appearances on TVs everywhere. Except for the brazen al Qaeda Christmas Day attack on America yesterday.
It has been over thirty-six hours since the terrorist attack on Northwest flight 253, yet Obama has not appeared before the American people to voice his outrage, or to voice his praise of the passengers and crew who thwarted the attempt, or even to just let the world know he is on top of the situation.
Instead, he golfs.
The front page of the White House website has nothing about the terrorist attack. The latest update on the front page is Obama's weekly address posted December 24th.
The White House Briefing Room section contains no statements on the terror attack. Its last posting was also on December 24th.
There have been no on camera statements by any member of the Obama administration since the terror attack.
CNN reports the White House told their reporter Ed Henry that jumping in front of the cameras over the attack is not Obama's "style".
The White House told reporters earlier today that Obama took a conference call with his national security team at 6:20 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time. Thirteen minutes later he already was in his motorcade heading to play golf.
Obama's message to America is he doesn't really give a (fig) about this attack on the country on Christmas Day. It's just not his style.

If Bush had done any of what obama is doing then the media would have gone mad but no obama’s is over there doing nothing as a Christian would do and no one questions this, WHY????
No one is gong mad in the media asking why the president was not informed right away and why has he not put his mug in TV.

Since he has used every excuse any one could imagine to get in front of the cameras before, why haven’t we seen nonstop obama telethon on on TV after an attack?

He didn’t give a flying flip about Fort Hood—except not rushing to judgement on the terrorist—and he doesn’t care about this. It will be business as usual.
But an in-person Obama statement isn't needed; Indeed, a message expressing command, control, outrage and anger might elevate the importance of the deed, would generate panic (because Obama usually DOESN'T talk about the specifics of cases like this, and so him deciding to do so would cue the American people to respond in a way that exacerbates the situation.
