Daily Presidential Tracking Poll (Dear Reader at -16)
Rassmussen Polls ^ | Sunday, December 27, 2009 | Scott Rassmussen

Posted on 12/27/2009 9:41:15 AM PST by MNJohnnie

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll, released Thursday, shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16 (see trends).

Thirty-eight percent (38%) now believe the economic stimulus plan passed earlier this year has hurt the economy. Just 30% believe it helped. That’s the first time since the legislation passed that a plurality offered a negative assessment.

Most voters (52%) are concerned that the government will do too much in terms of responding to the economic challenges. Just 35% fear it will not do enough.

51% Say Bad Economy Bush’s Fault, 41% Blame Obama

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/december_2009 /51_say_bad_economy_bush_s_fault_41_blame_obama

What most political commentators seem to be missing is Dear Reader is at -16 despite the majority still blaming Bush for the state of the Economy.

Time is not on the Democrat's side. This number is only going to get worse for them

51% Say Bad Economy Bush’s Fault,

I guess if you say the word "inherited" every time you're in front of the camera it tends to stick. What a cowardly POS he is.

Tomorrow’s numbers will be telling in the wake of his non-response to Friday’s terror attack in Detroit......

Problem for Dear Reader is the number of people buying this “It’s Bush’s fault” line is dropping each month. By about April or May, the majority are going to be blaming him for the state of the Economy.

I'd say sooner, especially when the bad unemployment numbers come in, the lackluster Christmas sales are reported and people start getting the huge heating bills in the mail. The heating bills are going to hit folks really hard.

What happened to the “Global Warming”?. Maybe Haliburton fired up their “Weather Machine”?!?!

He's deeply concerned about what he has inherited and the action taken by him will be unprecedented.

Alas, what this twerp “inherited” was a free country with an excellent heath care system (broken only in the minds of nitwits), a strong military, and succeeding in wars on two fronts. Even the economy wasn’t as bad as it is now. How dare they blame this on Bush?

Really. This guy is such a wimpy girlie-man.

Note to BHO: Quit your whining! Man up (if possible)! Just shut up, quit crying like a two-year-old, and do the job 69 (deluded and deceived) million people elected you to do. Otherwise, we will call you not CIC, but WIC.

Poll taken before the pantybomber incident on Christmas Day, and O’s response of playing golf.

The next poll will be interesting. Should drop him a few points.

Folks you live by the polls you die by them...I am telling you ALL these pollsters are whoring for THE DEAR LEADER like the media prostitutes! HOW in the world can you go from -21 in two day to -16 in 4 or so days without anything particularly outstanding happening. How did the JOKER get a bounce? IT DON'T MAKE SENSE, especially during the unpopular healthdeath bill which THE MAJORITY OF FOLK oppose!! NOPE, I'm convinced the pollsters are whoring for the EVIL RAT KING!! ALL the polls are cooked and you will NEVER see his numbers fall below the 40 or 30 mark...BANK ON IT!!

Relax, Rose. The 5 pt move is within the poll's margin of error. Could be (probably is) a totally random move.

Either that or, in recognition of the season, a surge of charitability on the part of the American public...

If you look at the trends page, this hasn't been updated since the 24th. I don't think this is live. I think the title is just changing.

I am pretty sure that Rassmussen doesn't track over holidays. We will see tomorrow morning.

I almost hate to say this, but I think his “non-response” was because a “terrorist attack” that was supposed to happen — hitting already hard-hit with unemployment Detroit, “the northern Katrina”— DIDN’t HAPPEN and it was “supposed” to to help bammy’s numbers.

Last year Rasmussen was out 12/23 through 1/3 with the next polls on the then “Obama” appoval index coming Sunday Jan. 4th. The worst thing is the don’t warn anyone about their vacation.

I enjoy watching more of the long term trend and not the day to day. -21 was nice, and he will meet and exceed it again.
