Arkansas police continue to search for two suspects in the shooting death of a Salvation Army major on Christmas Eve.
Salvation Army Major Philip Wise was killed outside the organization’s community center in North Little Rock, Arkansas as his three young children looked on.
Wise had worked for the Salvation Army for 16 years and had been at the Little Rock location for 3 years.
"He was so important to that community," said North Little Rock Police Department spokesman Terry Kuykendahl told FoxNews.com.
"This has been a tremendous blow to (them)."
Thanks to private citizens' donations, police are offering a reward of up to $3,000 for any information leading to the suspects' arrests.
The suspects are described as two African-American males and are believed to be 'armed with handguns.' Police are following up on leads, but are asking the public to help them by contacting them with any bit of information they may have.
Police said the suspects were last seen running on foot towards a government-funding housing community in the area.

How did they know they were African-Americans? Maybe they were just Africans, like from Nigeria, or African-Canadians?
I am sure there are people who know or strongly suspect who did this heinous crime, murdering someone who has made a career of helping. They should either dispose of the vermin in their own way, or turn them in to the authorities so the trial lawyers can make a little money off the case before the malefactors are executed. Heck, if they are not caught, Jesse and Al won’t have a chance to intervene for fun or profit; but then, on the other hand, the difference between this murder and some hate crime won’t need no “splainin’.”
These animals are so stupid and evil they murder someone who has given his life to helping others.
But, of course. Give them more food stamps & a better government house and they wouldn’t have killed a father, who was working on behalf of the poor, in front of his three children, age 4, 6 & 8 and his wife, who was also working on behalf of the poor. /s

Mr. Wise and his family are charitable beyond his death.
The article goes on to state that donations made in his name will go toward a music program at the organization’s summer camp.
We need to find these scumbags, and then round up their families and make them throw the switch on these cockroaches.

Of course, it’s what Obama wants for all of us, and I suspect this will be so common in the future it won’t even be reported.
That said, prayers for this man and his family. It’s just hard to imagine that these creeps would do this. But just last week, our pastor, wearing his clericals, was robbed at knifepoint by a young thug who threatened to kill him. So I’d say the thug class is feeling emboldened.
