Opinionated talk is big business on cable news networks when the sun goes down. During the day, though, it's the opposite. MSNBC is shuffling its daytime lineup early next year because its strategy of spreading personality-driven programming throughout the schedule isn't working. The new approach will emphasize a fast-paced review of the day's big stories as they break.

Haha is that what MSNBC was claiming they featured “personality programming”????
Could its failure be nobody had personality worth watching, ergo no audience regardless of the opinions.

Lots of viewers of “CNN Headline News” are the captive audiences of “Airport TV.” Many are the times I wished I had a brick to lob through the screen....
There should be more instructional programing on Airport TV. How to put out terrorists with fire extinguishers, how to knock out terrorists with fire extinguishers...
The remote fits on your key chain. Point it at the TV while pressing the mute button. As soon as the TV goes mute you have found the TV's IR frequency. You now control the volume, channel, power, etc... And best of all, no one knows but you.
