"Johnston fought to allow the custody matter to unfold in public, saying in a sworn statement that doing so would help put everyone on best behavior. He noted that Van Flein also represents Sarah Palin.
"I know that public scrutiny will simplify this matter and act as a check against anyone's need to be overly vindictive, aggressive or malicious, not that Bristol would ever be that way, nor that I would. But her mother is powerful, politically ambitious and has a reputation for being extremely vindictive," Johnston said in his affidavit. "So, I think a public case might go a long way in reducing Sarah Palin's instinct to attack."
Johnston said he didn't want to hurt or embarrass his son -- or Bristol. He thinks Sarah Palin, not Bristol, is acting with "sheer malice," Butler wrote in a court filing.
"He feels Sarah Palin, through her lawyer, under the guise of Bristol Palin's name, would run roughshod over his very bones," Butler wrote."

The wording in the affidavit highlights this young man's lack of character.
More of the same. He’s not smart enough to come up with this on his own either.
In Sarah’s book, she was asked at a debate what she would do if one of her daughters came up pregnant. She said that she would try to talk her into adoption.
She should have tried harder.
What’s he going to do with the baby? Parade him around from TV show to TV show? Sell him to the highest bidder? The kid shouldn’t be anywhere near a baby.
Agreed! There is someone behind this besides Levi. What a pitiful little turd! And the media is going to eat this up - unlike how they would treat the daughter of ANY liberal politician.
he is a pos
Dads far more qualified than boychick Levi get shafted in court all of the time. What makes this rube think he is going to get a favorable ruling? (Psssst....look and see who is paying him for the real story on this)
Mother`s should keep and raise their children period! No reason in the world for that child to be rejected, what a silly thing to say. Sorry just call em as I see em!!!
Levi’s constant attempts to garner publicity and his posing for nude photos puts the lie to this: “There’s no evidence either of the young parents is unfit, his lawyer, Rex Butler, wrote in a court filing.”
This type of case is always heard in private.
“Bottom line. How much money does he want?”
Probably, more than money, he is addicted to the feeling of being important and sought after.
He is an easy mark and useful tool for the “compassionate and nuanced” left hit groups.
The continual attacks on Palin is a theatre showcasing the left and their smug distaste for the masses.
but the libs and repubs in Alaska wants revenge on Sarah, so its public
BTW, Levi is on his last meal ticket with Sarah, there can be no way he can win in an honest, fair case.
The mother can't unilaterally put the child up for adoption. If the low-class father wanted to keep the baby, there is nothing the mother can do to sever his parental rights. So adoption wasn't an option in this case.
Thank you. That’s what I always thought. This is not going to be pretty. Bristol Palin shouldn’t have had to “prove” that an open hearing would hurt the child . . . common sense should have informed the judge of the truth of that.
Oh, because this no-load, sperm donor has some lib judge on his side and this circus is going to be public, Palin’s daughter should have given up the baby for expediency’s sake? What a crappy way to look at things...IMO, it’s NOYB!
This spoiled brat is hoping for more publicity, I don’t think he cares how it will ultimately affect the baby, nor for that matter his own mother. He want attention and cares not how he gets it.
That said, I hope Levi is humiliated.
Well, maybe this mother should, but let's not forget the real rotten mothers like Susan Smith (R.I.P. her children) and others, either.
I feel the same way about this comment - netmilsmom must be off her/his meds...
