War on Terror? It's over. America lost as soon as this lazy communist was sworn in and his army of fellow America haters took over!

Sorry, "attempted" would have been if the perp had been arrested in Amsterdam.

This guy is so NOT qualified to be the President. All the way down to showing up in an open collar. Gawd.
To: IbJensen
I think that if it suited his purposes, Obama would be willing to declare the fourth Rockette from the left to be an isolated extremist.

President Barack Obama, in his first public comments on the attempted bombing of a U.S. airliner traveling from Amsterdam to Detroit, described the suspect as an isolated extremist,...Taqiyya spewing LIAR!

To: IbJensen
where did he say “isolated extremeist”? i didnt see that in his statemnt
To: beebuster2000
He said it in his first Hawaii speech, then said the US would hunt down everyone associated with the terrorist. It didn't seem to occur to him that what he said was ridiculous.

This incident, like several that have preceded it, demonstrates that an alert and courageous citizenry are far more resilient than an isolated extremist. How hard did you look?

Where is Jamie Gorelick now?
To: IbJensen
This isolated extremist, on his own, and independent of any organization, managed to hit on the exact same plan as a totally unrelated Somali last month.

Must be a planetery convergence that just makes dumbass isolated extremist Muslims suddenly hatch the same wild (but isolated!) schemes.

The damage was done and the mission successful when we needed to upgrade security measures.
Whether or not an attack takes out an airplane, the fact that people might feel unsafe and do not trust authorities to protect them means that the attack was successful.

BO Plenty is a complete failure as POTUS. I believe that 2010 will bring about another major jihadist attack on the USA, probably more spectacular than 9/11.
Too bad the US Constitution doesn’t allow a popular recall of a sitting POTUS, similar to recall elections at the state and local level.
To: Eagle Eye
Excellent point. Sun Tzu said an insurgency is successful when it causes the people to lose confidence in their leaders.
