Look for unintended consequences as the flame has to be brought closer and closer to the face to relight.
Makes me wonder just what is in it that makes it go out, and what they will find it does to you years from now.
Buy more matches.
I’m series, folks. Get on the e-cigarette bandwagon while you can.
e-cigarette-forum.com.
I’m currently using the 510 with Johnson Creek fluids. YUMMIES!
It’s a damned pain in the ass.
Just switch to e-cigarettes. They are awesome.
Carpet glue.
No; nicotine suppositories.
Texas also has this type law going into effect Friday.
Also bacterial meningitis vaccines required for new students living on campus and HIV testing for expectant mothers are among the new laws that target health issues
Welcome to the land of gov’t control.
There are “rings” placed inside the cigarette that act as a firewall of sorts. What those rings are actually made of seems to be a matter of debate. One source I read about said it is simply a less porous form of paper that won’t burn readily unless you draw air through it (i.e. take a drag). Another source I looked at said it is a ring of plastic called EVA - the stuff they make foam rubber, hot glue sticks, and some kinds of plastic wrap.
All I know for *sure* is that my friends and family who smoke feel it is a major pain in the rear.
Brilliant! Make them safer by adding more chemicals!
Ugh, looking into the e-cigarette now!
Mandatory HIV testing for expectant mothers? Even if they are not high risk?
Damn. All newborns were tested for HIV in NY State for a while (not sure if they still test). The thing is the baby would be given a number and the mother would not be told about the testing or the results of the test.
Glad my baby years are behind me. I’d tell them to go pound sand. What is the penalty for refusing?
But, as a fellow "vaper" of nearly two months, don't forget that the FDA will be coming for us soon!
I don’t know the penalty. I just read this in the paper yesterday and it didn’t give any details. I looked for other info but didn’t find it and didn’t want to go searching the Leg. regs.
Actually, they are taking the sodium/potassium nitrate (saltpeter) out of the paper. They are the little particles that burn and fizzle as you take a draw. There should not be as much nitrogen oxides and other chemical byproducts etc. in the smoke.
I agree with your friends and family, but want to add that the live ash tends to fall off the smoke, which makes smoking while driving a much more interesting event...
I’ve picked up eCigs, but they’re not exactly satisfying, although I’ll use them while flying commercial, and at whatever new job I land.
I think that somebody decided to increase the sales and profits of the disposable lighter companies, but I guess that’s just my poor attitude...
Well, Alright then.
I guess.
I have one ashtray that I purchased at the dollar store. Because of the angle that the cigarette sits in the try, it ALWAYS goes out if I don’t pick it up soon enough and draw a puff on it.
