I received an electric guitar. I knew a little about playing, but never had one of my own (grad school consumed most of my cash for a few years). Thanks to some generous family members, I have a guitar o’ my own.

Not wintry here at all, though it *was* cold (below freezing for a few days last week. We are getting hard frosts in the mornings right now, but the cloud cover is keeping it warm. Nothing like what my poor sister and hubby are suffering (they just went through a couple weeks of -30 weather. Her puppy is NOT impressed).

I’ll be taking the truck rather than the motorbike to work tomorrow night, only because I borrowed a couple of tools that I need to return. I _did_ ride the scooter in every day last week, though.

Unless there’s a strong chance of snow, I try to ride the bike. 70+ mpg and it’s a blast! Though with my hair some folks think I’m a fat chick. Until they see the bottlebrush mustache, that is < BG >.

I can think of better reasons to build a room than to store a tree! When you don’t have a basement or a *real* attic, storage is a problem.

Must be time for a garage sale! Hope I don’t have to pay taxes on the *fortune* I always make on having a sale ;-)
