I’ve been waterboarded, it’s quite effective. I knew I wouldn’t die, but it didn’t matter even though I knew it was only training...it was very uncomfortable and will make you spill some info just to get them off you for the moment. Repeated “drownings” will break you eventually. It’s not torture in my opinion as it does not permanently disfigure or affect your health. But it will show you what you’re made of.
Personally I’d cut his fingers off one joint at a time until I got what I wanted, McVain be dammed.
