Saving American lives: American airlines must immediately start profiling and publicly announce it
The Collins Report ^ | January 1, 2010 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

Posted on 01/01/2010 7:16:41 AM PST by jmaroneps37

Let’s give these terrorist swine who want to blow themselves up on our airplanes a clear choice of which lines they should fly and which they should avoid.

The best way to do this is for American airlines to publicly announce they will now profile their passengers at will.

The wording could be: “In order to do everything possible to insure the safety of our passengers and crews, (name) Airline reserves the right to profile and reject anyone attempting to fly with us who appears to be dangerous. We are fully prepared to defend our actions against all legal challenges to this policy which becomes effective immediately.”

The Netherlands and Nigeria: better late than never

In their immediate response to Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab’s attempted suicide bombing of a Northwest Airlines plane flying from Nigeria to Detroit with a stop in Amsterdam, both countries have now added millimeter-wave body scanners, or full body scanners to their anti hijacking procedures. This simple step makes it doubtful that the next would be underwear bomber will come anywhere near either country.

Confusing numbers

With reports of the number of al Qaeda’s trained and ready homicide/suicide bombers running from 25 to 300 we can’t afford optimism about safely flying on an American airliner. We need this new strong and effective counter terrorism measure.

Al-Qaeda's purposely confusing our side with varying reports of the number of trained ready to act airplane homicide/suicide bombers they have.

Our announcement of “profiling” at will give them a distraction and create problems for them so we can get back to being a step ahead.

Notwithstanding Janet Napolitano’s claims that “the system worked” the SYSTEM either didn’t work or passengers saving themselves is part of its makeup. Either way we lose. Let’s announce profiling is coming and start it immediately.

We either profile or we will be hit sooner or later. I have no faith that Obama will do the right thing in this matter as he has not done what was right in anything else of importance.

Common sense dictates we need to profile muslims considering the one common thread with these terrorist attacks is they are all muslims.

The right thing to do. But sad to say in this PC country we have no airline will do it. Especially since DOJ and DHS will sue their a$$ off, never mind the ACLU.

This is the truth. How dare you tell the truth in this era of moral relativism. You unenlightened trog.

Our own government would stop airlines from doing this. We need to take back the FedGov from those who weaken the US and encourage attacks first.

Airline reserves the right to profile and reject anyone attempting to fly with us who appears to be dangerous.

They already do this. If a passenger appears to be drunk before boarding the plane, they can refuse to let him board. No big deal.

Even better than this is adding full-body scans (without those stupid metal modesty shields for crotches) and those "puffy" machines that detect the odors of explosives to the security protocol.

Profiling is good, but not foolproof. Eventually an 18-year-old squeaky clean white American cheerleader is going to show up packing explosives somewhere on her nubile and amazingly limber young body.

When US Airways crews ejected the "Flying Imams" - they sued. When the Clinton-appointed Judge denied certain evidence at the trial, US Airways was forced to settle out of court. The airlines are not where the fight needs to be. They are victims just like the American people.

First, airlines need immunity for denied boarding for any reasonable cause.

Janet misread the teleprompter when she said ... “the system worked”.

It should have read “They worked the system.”

>>We either profile or we will be hit sooner or later.

We were “hit” on Dec 25. If that plane had exploded in a fireball over Detroit, the govt would have been saying that it was a structural failure or bad wiring before the pieces hit the ground and the state-run press would be backing them all the way.

Actually, in this instance I imagine the cheerleader would get the extra thorough body scan even if she passed the profile.

If enough people refused to fly commercial without it, profiling would quickly become the most popular option since cruise control.

The frequency and incidence of this activity is only going to increase until we have no freedom nor rights, then they will expand into other niches. Muslims? They know no other way. Their “good” book mandates all this nonsense, hate and violence against the infidel. Obamas “ we are the largest muslim nation” proclamation says it all... that our ultimate safety and security lays in his hands!

The one has already destroyed the economy and taken another sixth under government control.... so heeeeeeeere we are headlong into a muslim marxist future... like it or not.

Ain’t gonna happen under this Administration. It’s clear that Obammy is going to follow his vision no matter what the cost to the Nation, and I expect that cost to come due soon in any number of different ways.

Fixed it for you.

As long as the PC crowd is in power, we will be at the mercy of Islamic terrorists.
We will be hit again, and again and again. The Muslims know they have a friend in the White House and the courts, so they wont have anything to fear .

Place a copy of the Koran on the floor at each checkpoint. Require each passenger to step on it (shoes on) in order to pass. Those who step on it without hesitation may board. Everyone else gets a strip search.

How about this ...

Do not allow members of Congress or government officials to fly on military transports. Require them to take commercial aviation only.

Of course, I wouldn’t expect Nancy (”I wanna bigger plane!”) Pelousy to agree.

Exactly. I sent letters to Continental, Hertz and Disney world.

I let them know they lost a customer until profiling begins.

I was planning a trip to Florida, and ended it on Christmas day.

Im not scared. I have been on planes relishing the chance to beat the living crap out of a Muslim terrorist for about 20 minutes before we land. Im just pissed off and drawing a line now.
