You have a really good point. I sometimes wonder if high-cap mags have been a blessing or a curse. Jeff Cooper, when he was alive would marvel at the number of shots fired for the given results in so many police involved shootings. In all fairness to the officer, I've never had to open fire on someone who was charging me with an axe, but it's frustrating, given all the dreary news these days, to hear of some muslim lunatic (redundant I know) surviving an armed engagement with any purportedly decent human being.

Yep, the mentality of spraying bullets rather than taking deliberate aim seems to take over when there are lots of bullets to spray.

I can hit six out of six with my old old 4” Colt Police Positive on a human silhouette at 100 yards (most of the time). It is great for hustling Glock 17 guys if I can get em to agree to a slow fire match. But my carry gun is a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II with glow sights. It can hit at 100 too but quite as well at the Police Positive.

I own a couple of Police Positives (my 'little ponies'), but I doubt that I could use them effectively at 100 yds (hat's off to you). I do practice regularly with them, double action 'instinctive' at 10 yds., and do pretty well in the course of fire. It's nice to encounter someone who even knows what a Police Positive is.

Westergard is ok :) . He managed to flee with his 5 year old grandchild into some kind of safe room and alert the police. The attacker shouted that he wanted revenge and was going to kill Westergard.
