So instead they imposed a slew of constraints against you.

This bureaucratic nonsense is becoming the norm everywhere these days. My mother lives in a secured Alzheimers unit of an assisted living facility. Entrance to and exit from the unit requires a code to be entered into the lock to prevent residents from wandering.

Because ONE FAMILY member of ONE RESIDENT constantly divulged the code to the residents, the facility will no longer give any family member of any resident the code. They did not want to appear "unfair" by allowing the rest of us family members to have the code when they couldn't trust this one woman any more. In essence, they told us that they no longer trust any of us.
